15 Chop-khun Answering Questions
If someone asked whether Chop-khun cried easily while watching sad movies, he'd immediately answer no. No matter how heartbreaking the movie was, he wasn't the type to cry easily. Except, of course, in cases where the movie involved a dog dying. Then, Chop-khun would instantly become someone who tears up at the drop of a hat. Like the movie he was watching right now.
Chop-khun sat on the sofa, hugging his knees, using the back of his hand to hastily wipe away the tears streaming down his cheeks. His teary eyes were fixed on the smart TV screen, fully engrossed. He listened intently to every word the protagonist said as the protagonist bid farewell to his dog for the last time, knowing the dog was about to leave this world because of an incurable illness.
He picked up the remote and turned off the TV. Then, he scooped up Kati, who'd been napping beside him, and placed the dog on his lap. The farewell scene had stirred memories of Kaitun. He was glad Kaitun was still doing well, but it saddened him to think he might never see the dog again. If things had ended amicably with Tewit, he might've had the chance to visit Kaitun. But since their breakup had been far from pleasant, even the pets had to bear the consequences.
Chop-khun sighed four or five times as he scrolled through photos of Kaitun on his phone. After a while, his eyes began to well up again. He quickly locked his phone screen before the tears could spill over and become unstoppable. I need to find something to do to stop overthinking.
With that thought, he carried Kati to his workspace. He gently placed the sleepy dog on its bed under the desk. Seeing how Kati could sleep soundly even while being carried around made him shake his head. He sat down in his favourite work chair and glanced at the empty desk and chair next to his. It reminded him of the desk's owner, someone he hadn't seen in weeks.
From their last conversation, he knew Intouch had flown to Singapore right after finishing editing a tattoo video for him, as the cameraman was needed there for a magazine cover shoot. These days, I'm starting to have more free time, but In seems busier than ever.
Chop-khun opened his MacBook and logged into the YouTube Studio app for his channel. He checked various statistics, including watch times, subscriber counts, estimated monthly earnings, and other analytics to help him plan future content.
After nearly four months of running his channel, he'd uploaded almost thirty videos and gained 12,567 subscribers. His most-viewed video was an episode about visiting Suan Phueng, which had nearly 300,000 views. That video also brought in a significant number of new subscribers. Other videos had a mix of views, ranging from thousands to tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands.
Chop-khun felt reasonably satisfied with the feedback. He no longer aimed to outdo his ex's channel. He just wanted to prove Tewit wrong when he said Chop-khun couldn't run his own channel. Besides, not comparing his channel to his ex's anymore made the work more enjoyable. As for income, he'd already accepted that he couldn't expect much in the early stages of running the channel. Still, it stung to see the numbers on the screen.
His earnings from the first three months of YouTube didn't even cover the costs of producing the videos and paying Intouch's salary. But what brought a smile to his face was that his channel had landed its first sponsor. It was a brand of crispy banana snacks he often enjoyed. The brand had seen the video where he ate their snacks during the Suan Phueng episode and reached out to discuss a deal. They'd agreed on terms that satisfied both parties. The product would be promoted in the Q&A episode he planned to film the next day.
Seeing how unstable his YouTube income was, he decided to shelve his plan to watch another movie. Days off with no work were relaxing, but the lack of income notifications in his bank account felt unsettling. With expenses remaining the same but income decreasing, Chop-khun brainstormed ways to earn money while taking a break from urgent projects.
He walked to his studio, intending to film a video of himself painting. He planned to edit the footage to promote his work on his art Instagram and sell the finished piece afterwards. This time, he chose pastel acrylics to paint a colourful flower field and a sunset sky on a moderately sized canvas. He played his favourite playlist through the speakers, set up his camera, prepared his materials, and mixed the colours he needed.
Since it was a painting he was doing for himself, he felt no pressure. In fact, it was a welcome change from the rushed work he'd done in the past month. As he painted and listened to music, he noticed Kati standing by the glass door, waiting. He went over to play with the dog for a bit, but didn't let Kati inside, fearing the Pomeranian might accidentally lick the paint or ruin the artwork.
By five in the evening, the image he'd envisioned in his mind was now fully on the canvas. Contented with his work, he shifted his brown eyes from the painting to the large glass window. Seeing the sky outside turn a soft pink, he realised he'd spent more time than he thought.
Chop-khun picked up his phone, took a photo of the painting, and uploaded it to his personal Instagram story. Once everything was tidied up, he left the studio to prepare dinner for Kati. For himself, he ordered salmon salad and a sushi set through a delivery app.
While waiting for the food to arrive, he remembered he hadn't read the comments on his latest video. He opened the video he'd uploaded a few days ago.
‘The tattoo is so pretty!!! The meaning is perfect and suits you so well.'
‘I'm 17 and was planning to secretly get a tattoo without my parents knowing. But after watching this video, I've decided to wait until I find a design I truly love, as you did. Your tattoo is amazing!'
'Your skin was already beautiful. I don't see why you needed to ruin it with a tattoo.'
‘I've been to this tattoo shop before. The owner is really skilled and gives great advice.'
‘I want a tattoo like this, but I'm scared of the pain.'
‘Sometimes tattoos don't need any deep meaning. Liking the design is enough.'
‘I'm the same age as you, but my family won't let me get one. Watching this video makes me want to get one even more. Any tips on convincing them? TT'
'OMG, did anyone else notice? It was just for a sec, but did Khun and the cameraman hold hands? Too cute!'
‘I love delicate floral designs like this. It's even more beautiful on the spot you chose. The meaning is amazing too. I love it.'
‘Do you take custom tattoo design requests?'
‘I've been quietly following you for a while. I didn't think you'd be into tattoos. Please upload more videos. You're so charming.'
‘Tattoos are personal. The channel owner explained it clearly. Some comments should stop meddling with his body.’
'If you're so possessive about the tattoo design, then don't show it in the first place!'
'When's the next travel video coming?'
'Your skin is amazing. Can you make a skincare routine video?'
In just a few minutes, Chop-khun read through the comments, feeling a mix of emotions. Sometimes his brows furrowed in frustration; other times, a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. It was always like this whenever he read viewer feedback. Working in the online world meant encountering these kinds of things regularly. Normally, he didn't have much time to reply to comments. But since he had free time today, he decided to respond to as many as he could.
Just as he was making good progress, the doorbell rang. He quickly retrieved his food and sat down at the table in front of the TV to eat. As he ate, he scrolled through Netflix, trying to pick a movie. But by the time he finished his meal, he still hadn't chosen one. That's when Kati came over, plopped down beside him, and nudged his leg, asking to play. Seeing the dog's round, adorable eyes and pleading gestures, he couldn't resist. He set the remote aside to play hide-and-seek with the little dog instead.
The sound of a LINE notification chimed at 9 PM, just like it had for the past few days. Chop-khun didn't have to guess who it was. He set down the detective novel he'd been reading and picked up his phone. Seeing the name of the sender, just as he'd expected, made him smile unconsciously. Even though Intouch was busy, he still messaged almost every night to ask about Chop-khun's tattoo wound.
IN: Khun. How's the wound today? Did you take off the film?
Khunkhun: It's fine. It seems fine already. The wound's all dry.
(Jerry the mouse winking sticker)
IN: Can you send me a picture? I'll check the wound for you.
Khunkhun: One sec.
Chop-khun got up from the bed and walked to the large mirror. He pulled down the shoulder of his oversized white sleep shirt and took several photos of his tattoo. After selecting the clearest one, he sent it to Intouch and then flopped face down onto the bed.
IN: The scabs haven't completely peeled off yet, just a little more to go. Don't forget to apply the ointment for a bit longer, okay?
Khunkhun: Got it! I'll apply it right away. Thanks.
IN: Good job.
After reading the message, Chop-khun couldn't help but laugh. Intouch was praising him like he was a little kid.
Khunkhun: Are you already back in Thailand?
IN: Yes, I'm back.
Khunkhun: Tired?
IN: Talking to you makes me feel less tired.
Chop-khun tried to suppress his smile, but it was no use. He reread the message over and over, unsure of how to respond. Before he could figure it out, another message came through.
IN: See you tomorrow. I need to get back to work now.
Khunkhun: Alright, see you. Goodnight, In.
(Sticker of a bear in pyjamas holding a pillow by its side)
IN: Goodnight.
The next video Chop-khun planned to film was a Q&A, based on questions he'd previously posted on his channel's platforms. He planned to answer the questions while having a picnic and strolling through a park. The location he chose was Suan Rot Fai, or Rot Fai Park, near Chatuchak, aiming for a relaxed, casual vibe, as if viewers were chatting with a friend. However, Intouch suggested that since Chop-khun had recently gotten a tattoo, it wasn't a good idea to expose the wound to strong sunlight. They decided to film part of the video at his house in the afternoon and then head to the park in the evening for the outdoor shots.
Today, Intouch had to bring his equipment to Chop-khun's house again. Kati seemed especially excited, having not seen his favourite guest in a while. The dog became even more thrilled when Intouch handed him a cloth waterfowl toy to chew on.
Kati had always been fond of Intouch, but with this act of kindness, he seemed to like Intouch even more. Since they hadn't seen each other in days, Chop-khun found himself sneaking glances at Intouch's sharp features while the latter set up the equipment in the living room. He noticed that beneath Intouch's calm expression, there were clear signs of exhaustion.
"Shall we start filming?" Intouch asked.
"Oh, sure!" Chop-khun stammered slightly, caught off guard when the person he'd been secretly watching suddenly looked up and met his eyes.
He sat down on the sofa, dressed casually in a loose white shirt and cream-colored knee-length shorts. The main camera on a tripod was positioned in front of him to capture a wide shot, while Intouch held another camera to focus on close-ups of Chop-khun and other footage for editing.
Chop-khun began the video with a brief greeting to the viewers before picking up his phone to read the first question, not wanting to waste time.
"What book are you reading these days? - Detective novels. Lately, I've been into thrilling stories."
‘Would you consider doing a vlog about visiting an art gallery? You seem to love art. - If there's an interesting exhibition, I always go. But I've never filmed it because I find it hard to focus on both enjoying the art and filming at the same time. So, I usually just quietly take it all in."
"Do you have siblings? If so, are you close? - I have one younger brother. We're several years apart, but we're very close."
"Why did you start this channel?" Chop-khun paused to think. Initially, he'd started the channel to prove Tewit wrong after their falling-out, but he knew saying it out loud would stir up unnecessary drama. "Creating a YouTube channel has been a long-time goal of mine. I've worked behind the scenes before, but never appeared on camera. This year felt like the right time to try making a channel in my own style."
"The mood of your channel is so good! What inspires you? - For me, making YouTube videos is a form of art. I want to create a channel that feels like watching a piece of art, something that's both visually and emotionally soothing. And since I studied art, I can't seem to separate myself from it. It's just my personal style and preference."
"Will there be more travel vlogs? - Definitely. There are still many places I want to visit."
"What's the next content theme? Will it be another travel vlog? - Yes, there will be travel videos. I've already started planning them, so stay tuned!"
"What animal do you dislike and why? - Spiders. When I was a kid, I woke up to find a huge spider on my leg. It's haunted me ever since. Just thinking about it gives me chills."
Chop-khun scrunched up his face and rubbed his arms as he recalled the memory.
"What do you spend the most money on? - Art supplies. They're so expensive."
"What's the story behind your name, Chop-khun? -Hmm, as far as I remember, my dad and mom came up with it together. Let me call my mom and ask why they chose this name for me."
Chop-khun dialled his mother's number, and her sweet voice greeted him through the phone's speaker.
[Khun, what's up, dear? I thought you were filming?]
"I am, Mom. But one of the viewers asked why you and Dad named me Chop-khun."
[Oh, the name Chop-khun means that your dad and I love everything about you. We loved you even before we saw your face. We chose this name to remind you that we'll always love you for who you are. You don't have to live up to our expectations. From the moment we knew we were having you, the only thing that mattered to us was your happiness.]
"Wow, that's so touching." Chop-khun beamed happily. His parents had always raised him and Teerak with that mindset. As long as their actions didn't harm others, his parents never stopped them from pursuing what they loved.
Intouch, who'd been quietly observing Chop-khun smiling and chatting with his mother, couldn't help but smile a little himself, though his eyes carried a hint of sadness.
After a brief conversation, Chop-khun asked his mother to say goodbye to the viewers before ending the call to continue answering questions.
"You're juggling art projects and running a YouTube channel. Isn't it exhausting? How do you manage your time? - It's exhausting, honestly. I'll admit that my time management hasn't been great. I can get everything done on time, but it comes at the cost of my health, sleep, and having no time for anything else. Right now, I'm taking a break and planning to reorganise my work schedule completely."
"Can you review Kati? He's so adorable."
Chop-khun smiled proudly at the compliment about his dog. He called out to Kati, who was playing on his bed. "Kati, come here!"
Intouch panned the camera to capture the little dog trotting over with his plush toy in his mouth. Chop-khun picked up the fluffy dog and placed him on the sofa. Kati tilted his head curiously at the camera.
"Today, I'm officially introducing Kati to everyone because there have been so many questions about him. Kati, say hi to everyone."
The fluffy dog raised his front paws in a greeting gesture, following his owner's command. His adorable behaviour brought a smile to Intouch, as it was his first time seeing this trick.
"Good boy!" Chop-khun patted Kati's head before turning back to the camera. "His name is Kati. He's a male Pomeranian, just over a year old. He's well-behaved, playful, and not aggressive at all. Usually, Pomeranians bark at strangers, but Kati hardly ever barks. It's surprising. He's friendly with everyone."
Chop-khun let the little dog sit on his lap, happily chewing his toy, while he continued answering questions.
"Why did you name him Kati? - There's no deep reason. I just thought the name Kati was cute. I've liked the name for years, and when I got him, I felt it suited him perfectly."
"Will there be a vlog about Kati, like 'One Day with Kati? - Absolutely."
"Would you ever consider dating..." your cameraman? Chop-khun read the rest of the question silently. It was from a woman who often left teasing comments on his videos. I remembered her!
Quickly, he moved on to the next question, also from the same woman. Although her questions were odd, they were still better than answering the previous one.
"My brother seems possessed. He rarely smiles, but lately, he's been grinning at his phone. What should I do? It's getting worse lately. (Shocked emoji)"
Intouch furrowed his brows slightly as he listened. He could guess who'd written the cheeky question. Luckily, Chop-khun didn't realise who it referred to. Intouch silently vowed to cut this part out of the video. However, his furrowed brows relaxed when he heard Chop-khun's response to the camera.
"Maybe your brother is in love. Sometimes, just talking to someone you like can make you smile easily."
Chop-khun flashed a smile at the camera before looking down to read the next question. Meanwhile, Intouch reconsidered his decision to cut the question. Maybe I'll keep this part.
They finished filming the indoor portion by 3 PM. Chop-khun served snacks and drinks to Intouch, since there was still time before they needed to head to Suan Rot Fai. While discussing the remaining filming plans, the front door opened, revealing a new arrival.
"Oh, Rak, I thought you were coming in the evening," Chop-khun said, looking up at his younger brother, who'd mentioned he'd come over to study and help take care of Kati while Chop-khun was out.
"I was worried about traffic, so I came early. Hello," Teerak replied to his brother before turning to greet the man he was meeting properly for the first time. Truthfully, it wasn't about the traffic. Teerak just wanted to see this cameraman in person. And now he realised that Intouch was even more handsome than he'd imagined! Come to think of it, this guy is exactly my brother's type.
"Hello," Intouch returned the younger man's polite greeting.
"This is P'In, the cameraman for my channel."
Teerak nodded in acknowledgement before introducing himself. "I'm Teerak, P'Khun's younger brother. My brother talks about you a lot, P'In. Nice to meet you." As he spoke, he bent down to pick up Kati, who was hopping excitedly and pawing at his legs for attention, his tail wagging furiously. Chop-khun's eyes widened at his brother's words.
Talks about him a lot? What am I even saying? I've only mentioned him a few times! What's In going to think now?!
"Nice to meet you, too," Intouch replied with a small smile. The two brothers were clearly very different in personality. "So, Khun's been saying good things about me, right?"
Chop-khun narrowed his eyes at his brother, silently warning him not to say anything else. Teerak glanced at his big brother's stern expression and almost burst out laughing. He wanted to tease Chop-khun, but he knew if he said too much, his brother would never stop nagging him later.
"He said you're nice and really good at your job," Teerak said, stroking Kati's head as he spoke.
"Oh, I thought he might've been complaining about me," Intouch added with a chuckle before continuing to chat with Teerak for a few more minutes.
Chop-khun was astonished to see someone as reserved as Intouch engaging in conversation with Teerak for so long. Eventually, Intouch excused himself to organise his equipment.
"He gets my approval. P'In is a hundred times better than P'Te," Teerak whispered into his brother's ear as soon as Intouch walked away.
"What are you talking about? Go study."
"He's exactly your type. And he has dimples too," Teerak teased, nudging his brother lightly with his shoulder.
"Did Mom send food over? Put it in the fridge for me. I'll eat it when I get back tonight," Chop-khun said, quickly changing the subject before grabbing his bag for the shoot.
As they were leaving the house, Teerak couldn't resist throwing in one last comment that left Chop-khun flustered, while Intouch simply smiled faintly without saying a word.
"Make the most of your time together. Don't worry about Kati, I'll take care of him."
This time, Chop-khun volunteered to drive, and Intouch didn't argue. After loading their gear into the car, Intouch found himself back in Chop-khun's silver Benz.
"In, you can take a nap if you want. It'll be a while before we get there. I'll wake you up," Chop-khun said, glancing at the man beside him, hoping he'd get some rest during the drive.
"I'm fine, I'm not sleepy," Intouch replied. But less than ten minutes later, the exhausted man had his arms crossed and was fast asleep.
Chop-khun turned off the music playing through the speakers, letting the car fall into complete silence so Intouch could rest peacefully.
The traffic was heavier than expected, and it took them a full hour to reach their destination. It was long enough for Intouch to fall into a deep sleep, completely unaware that the car had already stopped.
Chop-khun sat quietly, watching the sleeping man for a moment. He felt a bit uneasy. It was the first time he'd seen Intouch look this tired. Between working on Chop-khun's channel and his own projects, it seemed like Intouch barely had any time to rest. Finally, Chop-khun decided to gently wake him up, reaching out to lightly touch his shoulder.
"In, In, we're here."
Intouch opened his eyes. Seeing Chop-khun's round eyes staring at him, he quickly straightened up and cleared his throat.
"Sorry, I must've dozed off."
"It's no problem at all. Let's get going. Here," Chop-khun handed him a pack of wet wipes.
"This will help you freshen up."
"Thanks," Intouch replied
The park was quieter than expected for a weekday evening. Chop-khun and Intouch walked side by side, backpacks slung over their shoulders, along a path lined with tall trees that provided plenty of shade. On a smaller green-painted path nearby, cyclists passed by leisurely. However, when they reached a spot with a lotus pond and a sunflower field, they realised that most of the park's visitors had gathered there to take photos.
"Have you been here before?" Chop-khun asked Intouch, who was busy capturing different angles with his camera.
"I've been here a couple of times for work, but that was a long time ago. What about you?"
"This is my first time. It's even nicer than I expected. There are so many good spots for a picnic," Chop-khun said, looking around for a suitable spot as per their plan. Soon, he found one that he liked.
"That spot looks nice. It's shaded too," Chop-khun pointed to a spot under a blooming pink trumpet tree. The green grass beneath the tree was scattered with pink petals, and a large pond was nearby.
"It's beautiful," Intouch agreed, nodding. The spot had great lighting and was perfect for filming.
The two of them worked together to lay down a mat they'd rented from a vendor at the park entrances, spreading it over the grass covered in pink flower petals. Then, they spread a white cloth over it and arranged the crispy banana snacks they needed to promote, along with some bottled water, in one corner. After all that, they sat cross-legged next to each other, facing the pond.
"The sunlight is starting to fade. Let's start filming before we lose the light," Intouch suggested.
"Alright, let's start with the snacks," Chop-khun agreed.
After setting up the equipment, they began filming again. Intouch captured shots of Chop-khun opening a bag of crispy banana snacks and briefly talking about how delicious they were, keeping it casual to avoid a hard sell. After completing the product promotion, they answered more questions from viewers.
Chop-khun picked up his phone and scrolled through the remaining questions.
"When did you start drawing? - As far as I can remember, I've been drawing since I was a kid. I was probably seven or eight, just doodling as kids do. I found it fun, so I kept drawing. Eventually, I liked it so much that I asked my family to let me study it seriously in middle school."
"What do you do if you lose passion for something you love? - I try to figure out what's causing it. If I know the reason, I can address it. But most of the time, I just take a break. I don't force myself to keep going. I do other things until I feel like coming back to it."
"What did you study in university? Why did you choose that major? What inspires your art? - I studied Fine Arts, majoring in Painting. I chose it because I love art and wanted to fully immerse myself in it. My inspiration comes from my passion. I find drawing incredibly fun. I love mixing colours, trying new techniques, and feeling excited about how my work will turn out. My favourite part is when the finished work matches what I imagined."
"Do you prefer dogs or cats? - Dogs..." Chop-khun paused briefly before adding, "But I'm starting to like cats, too.”
The cameraman smiled slightly at the answer, while Chop-khun looked up at the pink flowers falling from the tree, carried by the breeze. Beautiful. The same thought crossed both their minds-one admiring the flowers, the other admiring the scene before him.
"The pink trumpet trees at this park are blooming right now. They're stunning," Chop-khun said, catching a flower that fell into his hand before blowing it away and moving on to the next question.
"If there were zombies, do you think you'd survive? - No, I wouldn't. I'd just let them bite me. I'm too lazy to run."
"If you had five free days, where would you go-mountains or the sea? - I like both, but I'd choose the sea."
"Are you in a relationship? - No, I'm not."
"Do you get negative comments or hear bad things about yourself? How do you respond? - All the time. At first, it upset me, but now I just let it go. Some people type whatever they think without considering how it might affect others. I see those as careless comments. I don't bother replying, but I'll admit, I do curse them out in my head sometimes. Mothertrucker."
Intouch raised an eyebrow in surprise and looked up from the camera, meeting Chop-khun's eyes just as he suddenly stood up.
"In, there are monitor lizards behind you!"
Intouch instantly whirled around to see two large monitor lizards that had just emerged from the water, staring at them.
"Why do we always end up in situations like this? That scared me. They're as big as crocodiles," Chop-khun said with a laugh.
Intouch panned the camera toward the uninvited guests before turning back to Chop-khun, who was standing still.
"I think we should just go for a walk. They don't seem like they're going anywhere," Intouch suggested
"Alright, but let's pack up first so we can walk comfortably," Chop-khun agreed.
They quickly packed their belongings as the lizards slowly moved closer. Chop-khun wasn't scared, but he knew it wouldn't be good if the lizards suddenly charged at them. Just imagining it was enough to make Chop-khun shudder.
With their picnic plans ruined, they decided to take a walk around the park instead. After returning the mat to the vendor and storing their unnecessary items in the car, they began exploring the large park on foot.
As they strolled along the path, Chop-khun noticed several squirrels darting around the trees and even running across the walkway. They seemed quite used to people, and he couldn't help but step closer for a better look.
Meanwhile, Intouch was busy capturing footage of the surrounding scenery and the people walking ahead. Whenever they passed a large cluster of pink bougainvillaea or an area filled with blooming pink trumpet trees, Intouch would suggest that Chop-khun pose for some shots. He planned to use the footage for the video, possibly as a thumbnail.
Chop-khun wandered along, his eyes on the road scattered with fallen pink trumpet tree petals. He spotted a man kneeling to tie his girlfriend's shoelaces. He was suddenly reminded of a time when he walked along a street in Japan with Tewit under cherry blossom trees. Tewit had knelt down to tie his shoelaces in the same way. But strangely enough, he felt nothing for those memories anymore, not even a little. He came to understand that some things couldn't be pushed from his mind because they were unforgettable. But with time, even the unforgettable lost their meaning.
After walking side by side quietly for a while, Chop-khun pulled out his phone to check the remaining questions, glancing around at the scenery as they strolled.
"If you weren't drawing or running a YouTube channel, what else would you want to do? - I'd want to be a singer. When I was a kid, I loved singing as much as I loved drawing. But since I was too shy to perform, I chose to focus on drawing instead."
"Do you have any techniques for drawing? - My technique is practice, practice, and more practice. I kept practising until I was satisfied with my work. When I first started learning to draw, I drew every single day without stopping. If I compare the work I thought was good back then to what I create now, the difference is huge. For me, drawing requires constant practice."
"What's the cameraman's name? Will he ever show his face?" Chop-khun read the question aloud, then clasped his hands behind his back and turned to face the cameraman walking behind him. I guess we'll have to ask him directly. So, what do you say? Will you show your face?" Chop-khun raised an eyebrow and gave Intouch a teasing grin.
He was only joking, assuming Intouch would refuse-after all, he used an alias for his work. But to his surprise, Intouch stopped walking and handed him the camera. Chop-khun was momentarily taken aback but accepted the camera, giving Intouch a questioning look that seemed to say, Are you serious?
When the taller man nodded, Chop-khun panned the camera toward him. Intouch, dressed in a black shirt and dark jeans, rubbed the back of his neck, looking slightly bashful. Seeing him like this, Chop-khun couldn't help but grin.
"You're shy, eh?" Chop-khun teased, unable to resist poking fun at Intouch, as he'd never seen him flustered before.
"Hello, I'm In, Chop-khun's cameraman," Intouch said, smiling at the camera. In truth, the smile was meant more for the person behind the camera. Then he added, "It's not the camera I'm shy about-it's you, Khun."
The teasing man was left speechless. Flustered, Chop-khun hurriedly walked ahead with the camera in hand, unsure of how to respond. After walking for a while, the two of them stopped and rested on a bench by the water, far from the earlier commotion. Chop-khun couldn't help but glance around to make sure there were no locals nearby. With the coast clear, they resumed answering questions, and the camera was back in its rightful owner's hands.
"What kind of music do you like, Chop-khun? - I don't have a specific genre. listen to everything, depending on my mood."
"Do you prefer travelling or staying at home? - I'm a homebody. If I travel, I like going when there aren't many people around."
"If an ex asked for another chance, would you take them back? - No." Chop-khun answered without hesitation, as Tewit was the only ex he'd ever dated. Hearing this, Intouch smirked slightly.
"If you could go back in time, is there anything you'd want to change?"
Chop-khun took longer to answer this question than expected, absentmindedly brushing his lower lip with his finger as he thought.
"There were times I asked myself if I'd do things differently if I could go back. But after thinking it over, I don't think I'd change anything. Even though some of my choices were mistakes that caused me pain, those experiences taught me valuable lessons. They shaped who I am today. I've learned to love myself more and prioritise my own well-being."
"What kind of person do you like? - I like someone who's kind, calm, loves animals, and respects others."
"What makes you happy these days? Something that makes you smile easily? - Playing with Kati, drawing what I want, and being with people who make me feel at ease."
After answering all the questions, Chop-khun wrapped up the video and said goodbye to the viewers. The shoot had gone smoothly, and he sat quietly, watching the orange glow of the setting sun reflecting on the water. It was so stunning that he longed to capture it in a drawing, but he hadn't brought any art supplies. Instead, he pulled out his phone to take a picture of the scene.
"Can I ask you something?" Intouch, who was sitting beside him, broke the silence.
"Hmm? What is it?" Chop-khun raised an eyebrow and turned to meet Intouch's unwavering gaze.
"How should I flirt with you so you'd notice?"
Their eyes locked for a moment before Chop-khun looked away, his gaze falling back on the water. Then he said something that made both their hearts race faster.
"Who says I haven't noticed? Maybe I'm just waiting for you to say it outright."
