A quick note about the book and translation. The word 'it' appears frequently! Rather than 'him' or 'he', the character is often referred to as 'it'. Since the relationship is between two people of the same gender, conversations could become confusing if 'he' and 'he' were used throughout — it would be difficult to tell whether the author is referring to Arthit or Dao. For this reason, I have kept the original usage as is.
