Personal Manager

11 - Everyone was buzzing.

Gun was focused on the drink in front of him that Man had just mixed for him. The teasing and jeering of Kel and Mind continued to disturb his peace. Everyone is rooting for those two.

"Aren't you happy?" Mind asked when he saw Kel fall silent.

"Uh... thank you."

Gun didn't look up, but he could tell from the reply that Kel had probably accepted the flowers. He sat opposite him, his sharp gaze fixed on the glass of liquor in his hand, motionless. But his mind was racing with many thoughts. Anyone had the right to like Kel; he wasn't the only one.

"Should you just ask him out?" Mind's friend said again, followed by supportive comments from several others.

"I'm definitely not going to ask in front of you guys," the pub owner replied instantly. If he said that, it meant he probably would, but just not here or at this time.

Gun finally raised his glass and drank, glancing at the two people in front of him. It was just as he had expected; a large bouquet of white roses was inside Kel's embrace.

"You told me you were coming to chill, but you're already downing your drinks," Man remarked, but Gun didn't respond at all. Whenever people at the table asked about the flirtatious relationship between Kel and Mind, Gun just silently gathered the information, and even smiled at the two of them at times.

Although deep down he wanted to drag the slender figure out of the bar right now, he realised he was wrong to want to see them together.

"I want a boyfriend." Man's mood changed to one of complaining when he saw his older brother being happy.

"If you're lonely, just call one of the kids," Mind told his younger sibling.

"Yeah, why didn't I think of that? Want to go, Gun?"

"What?" He hadn't heard properly; he was too busy thinking about his personal manager.

"There are lots of boys to choose from at the bar, and they're all cute. Or do you have a particular DJ in mind?"

"Your friend probably wants one too. He looks like he's craving a drink. Okay, I'll get him a top-tier one," Mind said with a smile.

"It's alright, P'," Gun quickly replied.

"Whatever, I just called him to help relieve my loneliness," said the pub owner, then he got up from the table.

"You're more of a VIP than anyone my brother has ever brought to me."

Gun sighed softly before looking at the shorter person again. The bouquet was now placed beside him. Kel looked back as well, but neither of them spoke. After a while, Man suggested everyone toast enthusiastically. The personal manager and the model exchanged glances frequently until Mind walked back.

"This is the best Kel here."

"Hey, what about mine?" Man asked back.

"Go find him yourself, Gun... and you, move over a bit to make room for him to sit down."

Mind told his younger brother, and then told Gun, before walking back to sit down in his usual spot. Mind raised his large arm and draped it over the backrest of the long sofa, making him look even more... feminine. It felt like Mind was being even more possessive than before, and Gun was very displeased by this.

"Your face looks familiar, I think I've seen you on TV," the woman greeted, her hand brushing against the model's thigh.

"Yes," he could only nod in response.

The petite manager stared intently at the young woman's hand, feeling slightly displeased that Gun was sitting still, letting her stroke his leg like that.

"My friend is single, you know," Man said cheerfully.

"I'm single too," she said with a smile.

"You've had too much to drink. If you get drunk, we'll let you sleep here." While people on one side were talking, those on the other side of the table were whispering so intimately they were practically biting each other's ears.

"I'm not sleeping," the slender figure retorted, tilting his head up, making Mind smile at his cuteness.

"Hey, Mind, we're going inside first," Mind's friends said, a message they all understood.

"Be careful. If the police come today, keep everything hidden."

"Have you forgotten who my father is?"

"People are plotting against your father." Indeed, he's always had influential people protecting him, but he just wanted to warn him to be careful, because the shop that just opened could be shut down.

"Okay, you bastards, let's go!" And then only a few people were left at the table.

"Has Mind still not stopped playing with those things?" Kel asked curiously.

"I'm not playing anymore, my friends are."

"Whatever I promise, I will keep it."

"The reason I'm asking you to quit is that it's not good for you, Mind," Kel said, meaning well and not wanting him to get involved in illegal activities.

"How lovely and hardworking you are," everyone overheard. Man couldn't help but smile, while Gun unconsciously gripped his glass of liquor tighter.

"'Let's toast, you don't talk much,' the woman said, creating a relaxed atmosphere while extending her glass to clink with the young model.

"I'm not in the mood."

"Do you want one?" This sentence made Kel frown and look at her. In his heart, he was incredibly possessive of Gun.

"The kid's got it!" Man couldn't help but tease.

"Do you want to have fun? I want to invite you out for a dance."

"No, that's not my thing," Gun quickly refused.

"Your path must be to stand around looking handsome for photoshoots, right? Did you know that I bought the magazine you were on the cover of last month? I just kept it."

"Okay."

"So, does that mean you're already a fan of Gun?"

"It wasn't like that at first, but it was because of the cover of that book," the beautiful face smiled slyly.

"Which book?" Man continued to ask.

"Just a moment, I'll open it for you."

She quickly fumbled for her cell phone in her tight-fitting, high-waisted skirt, pressed a few buttons, and then handed it to Man. It was a picture of Gun shirtless, showing off his toned physique. The muscular man wore designer pants on his lower body, intentionally showing the edge of his underwear to evoke sexiness.

"My friend is handsome, but you usually complain when it comes to photo shoots like this, don't you?"

"It's because of P'Bim and the modelling agency that I had to do the photoshoot." For various reasons, he couldn't refuse certain jobs.

"So, now that you're his personal manager, aren't you going to take on jobs like this for him?" Man turned to ask the shorter person.

"I'm not very skilled yet. Whenever there's a job offer, I always ask for Gun's consent first."

"Oh, Mind's boyfriend is..."

"This is my friend," Mind interrupted. Actually, he wanted people to think Kel was his boyfriend, but he was hesitant because he hadn't asked him to be.

"I saw them sitting there together like a couple. I apologize. So, in conclusion..."

"Hmm, this is Gun's personal manager," Man introduced.

"That's great! I wish I could do that too," she said honestly.

"Why don't you come be one?" Kel said impatiently. He didn't like seeing Gun sitting so close to her; his chest was practically touching her arm. She moved away again. "Is that okay?"

"But we have to ask him first." Upon hearing that, the young woman looked at Gun, hoping for his answer.

"This is good enough," Gun replied immediately before looking at his personal manager. Kel and Mind were sitting so close together that he wanted to go back to his room. But Gun is unsure whether Mind will let Kel go back.

"Cutting off opportunities, yet someone so handsome still doesn't have a girlfriend. Or is it because his agency doesn't allow it?"

"It's not forbidden, but if having one leads to scandal, then it's not appropriate."

"How many people are in line if I want to apply? If we become a couple, I'll keep our relationship a secret," she continued.

"Tee," Gun chuckled softly, shaking his head.

"I bet you're going to be a regular VIP customer at my bar. You seem to get along well with Gun," Mind teased.

"I'll sign you up then," the young model replied immediately.

"I've made a friend," Man smiled happily.

"Why the rush?" Her full lips curved into a wide smile, thinking that Gun's sudden decision to become a VIP customer stemmed from his enjoyment of making friends. It's definitely hers.

"Just in case I need to catch someone wrong around here."

"I'm not being disobedient. There's no need to find fault with me."

"Yes," Gun nodded slightly before raising his glass of liquor and taking a sip, glancing at the smaller person sitting opposite him.

"Kel, I'll be going now, Mind."

"Are you going to the restroom or to smoke a cigarette?"

"Both of them," and then Kel walked away from the table where the male model was sitting, getting very close to that woman, talking nonstop. He wanted to smoke.

Couldn't they do it quietly?

"What do you think? Would asking someone to be your boyfriend while you're smoking a cigarette be romantic?" Mind watched the small figure until he disappeared before turning to ask his younger brother's opinion.

"Go for it, man. Good luck!"

"What about you?" This time, Mind asked Gun.

"..." His sharp eyes stared intently. But the person asking waited to hear the answer.

"May your love last a long time." In his meaning, "may your love last a long time," actually meant... a long, happy love between Kel and Gun.

A long time passed, but Mind and Kel still hadn't returned to the table. Eventually, the woman went to attend to other customers, leaving only Man and Gun. They talked about many boring things, but those two still haven't arrived.

"I think I'm going to head back," Gun should go see what happened.

"Yes"

"But will my manager be able to drive?" he pretended to ask, knowing full well that Kel could take care of himself.

"Don't worry, I think Kel will probably sleep here."

"cannot!"

"Why?" Man asked, puzzled by his friend's strange behaviour.

"I have work tomorrow, so he needs to go back and rest."

"He's probably in one of the rooms by now. I'll tell my brother to wake him up."

What would happen if Kel actually agreed to date Mind now? Someone who spoils him in every way, someone who liked him first?

"What do we do?" Man asked again.

"I'm going to the restroom real quick, then I'll be back."

"Okay, then, see you later."

After parting ways with his friend, he walked over to the smoking area the pub had designated, wanting to see for himself how far the conversation between those two had gone. Finally, he arrived at someone's room, just like Man said. I'm so annoyed!

A side hustle!

Gun's long legs stopped abruptly when he arrived at his destination. Mind and Kel were standing hugging each other in a dark corner near the smoking area, seemingly finished talking and happy with everything. Gun understood that Kel had the right to choose whoever he wanted as a boyfriend. Even though Kel said he didn't like Mind, his words clearly indicated that he liked Mind's actions.

"Hey, Gun! I thought you went to the restroom," Man exclaimed loudly. Kel quickly pulled away from Mind's embrace.

"I'm leaving," the young model said to his friend before walking out of the bar. He drove off without hesitation. Just liking him, just the beginning of liking him, and he'd already lost. Or maybe it was too soon for him to feel this way. Actually, he might not have any right at all. Mind came first. During the time he didn't know Kel, he didn't know what had happened between them. Perhaps it was the good things they'd done for each other that led them to the point of asking each other to be boyfriend and boyfriend.

"Damn!" He was incredibly frustrated, but he wouldn't blame fate for their meeting so late.

Finally back in his room, Gun went straight to take a shower to calm down. He'd been thinking about his personal manager all day and night. He hated being like this; whenever he became interested in someone, all he could think about was that person. After showering, he got dressed and lay down, not wanting to think about anything more. His phone rang again, but Gun ignored it.

Knock, knock, knock.

Knock, knock, knock.

"Gun, are you asleep?" After more than half an hour, the personal manager's voice rang out at the door. The person who was sleeping immediately opened his eyes.

"Can I sleep with you for a while. I don't want to go back to my room." The knocking sounded again. If the key card could open the bedroom door, Kel would have gone in. Gun didn't answer anything.

"Then I'll sleep on the sofa."

His heart skipped a beat. How could he sleep on the sofa? He didn't want him to sleep there, but he didn't want to see him right now either. Seeing them hugging so tightly, with the personal manager's face nestled against the warmth as if afraid that man would disappear, the chances of them dating were about ninety per cent.

The sounds outside quieted down, and Gun still wouldn't go to sleep. He waited for almost an hour before opening the door to check on him. He saw a small figure lying there. He was curled up on the sofa with no blanket, so he went back inside to get one for himself.

"Cruel," a murmur was heard as Gun covered him with a blanket.

"...” Gun remained silent, while the other person shifted to sit up. His sharp eyes stared intently. He had waited for him to fall asleep before coming out, but Kel still wasn't asleep. It was almost three in the morning now.

"Are you really going to make me sleep here?"

"Then I'll sleep here. You go to sleep in the room."

"No way. I mean, would Gun be so cruel as to make me sleep here alone? Actually, I can sleep on the sofa, but I have to sleep with Gun." (Sweet face)

He looked up at the tall man with pleading eyes.

"Hmph!" He stood with his hands on his hips and sighed wearily.

"I'll tell you about it."

"I'm sleepy," Gun lied.

"I can't believe it. You've been back for so long. Why didn't you sleep? And when I came to see you, you wouldn't come out to see me."

Kel's face was clearly dejected now.

"It's late. Let's talk tomorrow."

"You're sulking so much."

"I'm not sulking."

"What's wrong? You left so early, like you don't care about me at all. Before you left, you said we'd go back to sleep in my room together. But you didn't reply when I messaged you."

"What is there to worry about? I have him." I didn't expect to be asked to be his boyfriend today.

"Gun, don't hold a meeting."

"I'm telling the truth. You said you didn't like him, but your actions show you do." The hugs, the closeness, receiving a bouquet...

"Hey, kid," the older man smiled at the young model's reaction. He liked seeing him like this.

"I have to admit, he was very childish, like he was afraid of having this taken away from him, even though he didn't have the status of owning it."

"Mind wants me to be his boyfriend," Kel said.

"..."

"He asked me to be his boyfriend while we were out smoking cigarettes together."

"Here's another thing. You told me not to smoke, but you did it yourself." From that day on, I've never smoked again, but Kel was the one who started it. He was jealous of Gun in this matter.

"I was annoyed with that woman. Gun let her sit there, stroking his leg for ages." That was the truth from the heart; the reason he went out to smoke was because of that. H

"Really? I thought you weren't interested in me."

"I'm watching you the whole time, if you notice. It's only you, Gun, who keeps avoiding eye contact."

"I don't even want to look at you and him."

The two were talking normally, but it felt like they were having an emotional clash.

"So, whose idea was it that I go and see Mind today?"

"Yes, it's my fault. But I learned a lot when you were with him." That hurt so much. It was clear now that he really liked Kel. He liked him so much that they don't want anyone to get close to this person.

"What do you know?"

"You and he are just like a couple, anyone would think that. Where did those flowers go?"

"You're so good at sarcasm. I believe you're really jealous," Kel smiled, even though he shouldn't be smiling at this time.

"I have no right. We're not anything to each other."

"I gave you every right to control me, so why am I being ignored and treated like I'm worthless?"

Because Kel likes Gun, that's why he gave him a chance. My own heart has learned.

"Stop complaining. Go to sleep now. Choose a place where you want to sleep."

"We're not finished talking yet," the petite figure argued, always wanting to prolong the conversation. The more irritated someone was, the more he wanted to keep talking.

"I'm sleepy."

"I want to sleep with you. Anywhere is fine, just let me sleep with you." He'll keep pestering until Gun agrees.

"If you're so picky, go sleep with your boyfriend." Once Gun got jealous, he kept being sarcastic.

"I'm not dating him, sweetie." A slender hand reached out to hold the hand of the person standing there.

"...” Gun said nothing and didn't withdraw his hand either. It was chaotic this past evening.

"How can you be in a relationship with someone you don't love?" Slender fingers gently traced the veins on his strong hand—the hand that made him squirm.

"Don't," Gun told Kel to stop before he got aroused.

"I don't have a boyfriend, so can I sleep with you?"

"Damn it, brother!" Gun immediately pulled his hand back and hurried into his bedroom, before smiling to himself. At least Kel wasn't dating Mind.

The shorter person quickly grabbed the blanket and ran after him. He had previously told Gun to move his clothes to his room, but now he'd have to bring his own things here. That too! All his clothes and belongings... even when he went into the bathroom, he saw the same toothbrush he used. Kel immediately grinned.

"Hey, aren't you going to give me a hug?"

After turning off the lights and getting into bed, the owner of the space remained lying there, silent, with their back turned.

"No, you've been hugging other people so that I won't hug you," Gun replied.

"Then I'll give you a hug myself."

*Grab!*

It turned out that the smaller person was sleeping with their arms wrapped around the larger person from behind, their slender arms draped over the larger arm. This was because of the significant difference in their sizes. He couldn't hold him tightly enough, and after a while, he heard a sigh from the other person before they shifted and turned around.

"You're so stubborn," Gun pulled the smaller figure into a hug, burying him in his chest. He said he wouldn't hug him, but as soon as he was hugged, his heart melted.

"Oh, I'm so embarrassed," Kel admitted frankly that he was shy.

"Stop talking and go to sleep." I really want to lie down. It's almost morning, and he's still smiling and giggling.

"Want a kiss?" The sweet face looked up. (Give an inch, take a mile.)

"No, you’ve been smoking, no kissing."

"But I just brushed my teeth. Don't believe me? Prove it!"

"When you go out for a smoke with him, you probably don't kiss him the way you do when you're with me, do you?"

"Who would do something like that? I only like doing crazy things when I'm with Gun. I've done a lot of them already," not including things that he would never normally do.

Sai and Nee had encouraged him to strip in front of Ohm. As for Gun, Kel wanted to do these things without anyone telling him to.

"Then go."

Gun immediately bent down and kissed the smaller lips. His hot tongue searched for sweetness and found it. The other person reciprocated with an equally passionate tongue. It made his stomach tingle. Kel liked this kiss, and Gun liked it too.

"Didn't you say you wouldn't kiss me?" The cute face pulled away and asked.

"Then take it back." Was the second kiss a way to get the first one back? Although the slender figure was confused, he willingly returned the kiss.

What's very clear now is that they're addicted to each other's bodies.
