Peach Lover
All investments have risk
...You weak bastard!
Those are the words I've Sasomd used to refer to myself in my heart.
Despite intending to be a tough guy and tease the soft-bottomed one while out and about, he suddenly fell asleep, completely humiliated and losing face!
By the time he came to his senses, the movie was over. The lights in the entire theatre switched on brightly when Po shook him awake with great force, making it clear that the other person was looking at him out of the corner of his eye.
"Sleep well."
And to make matters worse, the first sentence he spoke was followed by a wicked smile, a mix of teasing and sarcasm that left the famous actor speechless. Luckily, as soon as he finished speaking, Po stood up, causing the collector's hand that was gripping the soft buttocks to slip away on its own, preventing any further awkwardness.
Taking advantage of the moment when Po turned his back, Sasom quickly "kept cool" by putting on a poker face, trying not to show his embarrassment, before hurrying to get up and put his arm around the other's neck, as if subtly indicating that he was still in control of the game.
The person whose neck and shoulder were being grabbed wasn't about to give in easily. Po glanced at him briefly, then let out a low "Heh heh" sound. It was obvious he saw right through the cunning person trying to keep a cool head. Therefore, upon returning home, Peach Lover had to find a way to restore his dignity once again.
He decided to be the first to ask for a shower, then intentionally emerged from the bathroom completely naked, allowing every part of his body to be clearly visible!
The fair-skinned homeowner swallowed hard again as the tall, muscular man strode closer, followed by another large swallow. They then whispered a knowing message, a silent understanding between them, signalling the nature of their relationship for the night.
"Hurry up and take a shower, Japo.”
“...”
"Yes...Yes."
This is how it should be. The accumulation of emotion finally brought a wide smile to his face. The other's flushed face and hesitant speech awakened a sense of excitement and thirst within him, pumping a surge of pride in his heart at the feeling of being a leader once again, rather than the feeling of being "undermined" he had experienced in the past few hours!
Seeing that Po had gone into the bathroom, Sasom went to hang up the towel, not bothering to put on any clothes, remaining completely naked. Same old routine, lying on the soft bed waiting for him to finish showering, planning that as soon as he came out, we'd get down to business without wasting any time.
Eye-catching!
But things didn't go as planned. The big man lay down, lost in thought, for less than five minutes... before falling into a deep sleep that lasted until sunrise.
"Go take a shower. Breakfast is almost ready."
Another thing I wanted to do was inwardly yell "Damn!" and, to make matters worse, the next morning, Po used the same look and tone of voice as he had in the movie theatre. It's all over; the evil tiger is gone. He couldn't even be a cunning fox.
"You weakling! Only weaklings who have enough experience will call themselves that!"
Since there was nothing else to do, I went to take a shower. Actually, when I first woke up, I was quite rigid and erect, pointing and glaring at the homeowner. But when I realised I'd dozed off twice, it deflated in an instant.
Sasom texted Inn, telling him to bring some clothes when he came to pick him up, since he was wearing the casual clothes Po had prepared for him.
The shirt wasn't so bad, since Po had some oversized options, but the shorts were the problem. While the fabric looked comfortable, the size was off; they were so tight that people could imagine what was underneath from afar without even seeing it.
However, the aroma that hit my nose as I walked down was enough to relax me. I forgot all about my tight pants because the food's fragrant smell was far more appealing.
“It smells so good.”
“Would you like to eat it now?”
"Okay, I'll go get the plates."
"It's alright, please sit down. I'll get it myself."
Having finished speaking, he walked away without hesitation. This homeowner seems to love providing service. He rarely lets anyone help him, preferring to do everything himself and doing it quickly, too.
It makes me wonder, with his good looks, if he weren't pursuing an artistic career, becoming a flight attendant would be a great option, as he likely possesses a service-oriented mindset that would appeal to airlines.
"There's not much to do today, just a simple breakfast. I haven't had time to go out and buy groceries yet."
"It's alright. This is fine."
Even if it's just toast, fried hot dogs, fried bacon, and various egg dishes, the aroma of freshly cooked food always brings happiness and can be cherished.
"But why are there so many eggs?"
"Oh, I didn't know what kind of eggs you like, so I made several different kinds so you could choose your favourite."
He couldn't help but smile, even though it was just a faint, unremarkable smile. But deep down, he felt that what the other person had done had created an aura of positive feelings in him.
"I like my fried eggs well-done."
After saying that, he scooped his favourite food onto his plate and said, "Eat it with chilli sauce."
That's the orange bottle placed next to the red bottle, ready to go. "I guessed wrong. I thought you'd prefer undercooked fried eggs."
Before Sasom could ask why Po thought that, he was too busy observing which type of egg Po was choosing. And there it was: Sasom’s guess was correct. The egg dish Po chose was Eggs Benedict, a breakfast or brunch item originating in New York. It looked so good that Sasom was surprised that the homeowner also knew how to make something like this.
Shaking the ketchup bottle before squeezing it onto Po's plate gave Sasom a fun idea. Taking advantage of Po's distraction, he grabbed a bottle of chilli sauce, opened it, and squeezed various letters onto the empty space on the plate.
“Po”
When finished, he called for the person sitting opposite him to see, which clearly read, "I WANNA EAT YOU!" along with an arrow pointing directly at him.
“Huh!”
But instead of being embarrassed, Po, who had been craving it, let out a loud chuckle before deliberately poking fun at the same old wound.
"If you really wanted to eat, why did you fall asleep last night?"
Reinforce your "weakness" image by collecting as many as you can!
There was nothing left to do but force a weak smile. Luckily, the hot, delicious, freshly prepared breakfast saved the day. At least I could try to forget about the teasing and instead started taking turns adding eggs to each other's servings, each adding their own preferred way of eating.
"Sir, may I speak with you about my oil painting exhibition?"
"Take it."
He seemed more relaxed, having noticed the hesitation of people who suddenly brought up the topic of organising the exhibition. So he had to try to find a sentence that sounded...
"So you're about to ask me to be a freelance model for your drawing, huh?"
Po shook his head. "Let's put that aside for now. I wanted to talk about the next month or two: I'll have less time because I'll have to redo all the artwork. I might even have to live and sleep at the studio near Soi 17. I probably won't be going home much."
I don't know why Po's words, "I probably won't be coming home often," made me feel an inexplicable pang of unease. But only a few seconds later, the person who had just swallowed the fried bacon was smiling again.
"No problem. I'll just come find you at the studio instead. :)"
Because I thought that someone who dedicated themselves so much to their drawing work probably wouldn't pay much attention to their food. So I started making a rough plan in my head to find time to send food to Po, at least for dinner each day.
"It's not like that."
"Oh, so what's the deal?"
"What I'm saying is, I want you to start taking filming videos seriously now," the speaker said, his voice laced with seriousness. He clasped his hands together, crossed his arms, leaned back, and continued, "If you want to train me on anything else during this period, go ahead and do it thoroughly. Because you don't have much time anyway, we might not get to film anything at all."
He hadn't anticipated that this would be the topic Po wanted to discuss, as he himself had almost forgotten about it. Moreover, after hearing what the other person said, the taste in his mouth, which had been delicious for most of the meal, suddenly turned bitter and unpleasant, an unpleasant taste that was almost impossible to swallow.
Po was quite surprised by the sudden accumulation of things, as if he had suddenly felt incredibly full, without realising that the abnormality stemmed entirely from his own words.
Sasom himself didn't quite understand his own feelings either. He didn't understand why he felt so annoyed with the person in front of him, even though, when he thought about what Po said, it was true... It was probably time. Time for Sasom to take Peach Lover's new video seriously, according to the purpose for which they both came together.
"Okay, I understand"
Understanding... even though I don't really understand...
“In conclusion, let's go.”
"Okay, let's go. I'll finish my work quickly and then grab my bag and leave."
"Actually, you can bring your work to my room. If you need anything, just call and tell me."
"Maybe next time. I'm too lazy to carry a lot of stuff."
"Okay then. See you tonight."
“See you tonight.”
If you didn't know, you wouldn't have guessed that Sasom was already annoyed with Po beforehand, simply because the famous actor found out there was a big party tomorrow night and that his new favourite child had promised to stay overnight in room number 13 to attend it together. Sasom's annoyance vanished completely, and he was back to teasing the soft-hearted person as usual. Only Inn couldn't find it funny, knowing full well that his boss's smile would soon change.
"Do you happen to know what's going on, Inn?"
Just as his trusted right-hand man had predicted, before they had even left Po's house, the smile that had been there before vanished, replaced by a stoic expression. Within his eyes, however, a blazing rage simmered, ready to erupt.
"I think it's probably about being a brand ambassador for Mr Long's airline."
"He! Damn it!"
Those who could only guess at what was going on cursed, wanting to punch the car window and shatter it, hoping it would help calm the storm of anger raging within them.
Instead of getting to spend more time with Po, since it was rare to have a day off at 2 PM, everything fell apart when Intro announced that both Mr and Mrs Woraphatchalakorn urgently needed to see their youngest son. If he tried to avoid meeting them, they would immediately cancel the wedding of his older brother, Ngern, to his lover. ...What kind of parents are they?
I'm wondering what kind of parents would so easily use their son's marriage as a bargaining chip, just to get the benefits they want!
Despite fearing for his life, he couldn't help but curse to himself. Inn, who was driving, felt sorry for his boss and could only hope that tonight, when Mr Sasom returned to his room to see Mr Po, it would provide some relief from his distress.
"Oh my! My dear little one, what brings you here?!"
Despite being met with a huge glare, Sasom immediately managed a smile the moment he arrived at Woraphatchalakorn's large house. He was surprised to see that the person who had been both speaking and glaring was "Nomphon," his nanny who had raised him since he was a child. She had essentially acted as his real mother, whose only roles were giving birth and dictating his life according to her wishes.
Sasom quickly leaned his face towards Nomphon, knowing full well that this woman in her late forties would eventually grab his cheeks and kiss him, left and right, just as she always did, making him feel like a child again every time they met.
"Have you eaten anything yet? Should I make you something to eat while you're breastfeeding?"
After showering her with kisses, the meal followed, as usual. Even though he had faced such situations his entire life, Sasom still couldn't help but wonder why he had never received anything like this from Mrs Woraphatchalakorn.
"I've already had my milk. Now I have to go up and see Mom and Dad. I have work at 2 PM, and I don't want to be late."
I made up for it by giving Nampron a kiss on the cheek when I saw her making a childish face the moment she realised we hadn't even had time to miss each other anymore before we had to part again. Nevertheless, Nomporn helped pinpoint her parents' location and offered some valuable life lessons.
"Let's talk things out calmly and rationally."
"Little One" listened attentively, but whether she would follow the instructions would depend on her parents.
"Hey, Eia Ngern, I thought you were going to pick up the wedding invitations with P'Pin today? Why haven't you gone yet?"
"Follow me first."
Before he could even reach his parents' room, Sasom was ambushed by his older brother, who bore a striking resemblance to him. The difference was that "Ngern" (the older brother) resembled their father, with a face that took a longer look to appreciate its handsomeness, while Sasom inherited more of their mother's genes, resulting in a face instantly recognisable as "handsome" at first glance.
"What's wrong, hey?"
It was impossible not to ask, because the older brother, who had told his younger sibling to follow, was acting suspiciously, as if afraid of being caught. It wasn't until they entered the room that the owner of the room seemed to relax, before going to get a brown envelope for his younger brother.
Without asking any further questions, he immediately opened the envelope when the equally tall man handed it to him, only to discover that inside were... candid photos of someone he had just parted ways with!
"Where did you get that from?!"
How did Poma's photo end up in his brother's hands?!
"Father's subordinate"
The short answer, "He's my father's subordinate," clarified almost everything for those who were previously confused. What could possibly make you and Mrs Woraphat Chalakorn suspicious? All the photos in the famous actor's possession now clearly show "there are none!" And Po is about to become their next target!
"Have Mom and Dad seen these pictures yet?"
Money shook his head. "I managed to snatch it first, but... I probably won't be able to do this for much longer."
Sasom ran his hand through his hair when he heard that. He was relieved that there was still time to find a way to get Po out of his parents' vicious cycle, but at the same time, he was anxious and afraid that he wouldn't be able to help the pale-skinned boy all the way to the end.
"I'm sorry, Lek. This is all I can do to help you."
The worrying part is one thing, and then my older brother looks so downcast. The intense emotions welling up inside me forced me to suppress them and transform into a "younger brother" to help cheer him up.
"Hey, why apologise, P'?" This is good enough. Now I've realised it beforehand."
"If you hadn't insisted on marrying Pin, I wouldn't be suffering like this because of you."
I don't know if I'm imagining it, but it seems like P'Ngen (the speaker) shrinks with every word he utters.
"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry."
Sasom knew very well that this matter was a mixture of many things. The fact that his parents had their subordinates investigate Po was one thing, but the other thing was… His man was feeling something similar right now; a stereotypical emotion stemming from his older brother's upcoming marriage.
On the surface, it's a joyous occasion for those in high society, as "Ngern Woraphatchalakorn," a young executive at Woraphatchalakorn Bank, is about to tie the knot with his fiancée. However, behind the scenes, his younger brother makes a major sacrifice.
About six months earlier, Sasom had decided to become an independent actor, declining to renew his contract with Channel 333, the channel he had worked with for so long. His reason was to explore new possibilities and take on a wider variety of roles, rather than confine his abilities to a single channel.
"If you agree to extend the contract for another five years, I'll let your brother marry that woman. Agreed?"
But his mother disagreed, because the channel's executives had submitted a proposal stating that if Sasom didn't renew his contract, Woraphat Bank and Chalakorn Petch would lose their right to be the main organisers of the channel's annual sports event. That would mean losing a huge amount of money.
Therefore, the mother, who valued money more than her children, agreed to use her eldest son's marriage as leverage against her youngest son, knowing that Sasom would eventually give in and comply with her wishes.
"Come on, bro. You've apologised to me a million times already. Go on, go take care of the security guards with P'Pin. Don't forget to give me an envelope of money, okay? Otherwise, I won't give you any. :)"
Even though his life was being constrained once again, he still managed to smile. He quickly nudged his older brother out of the room, trying to talk to him and lightheartedly reassure him so he wouldn't worry too much. Even though he doesn't have the freedom he hoped for, he wishes his beloved brother happiness in his married life, and he will feel happy too.
“Come in.”
After seeing his older brother off, Sasom changed his target again. His father's voice, granting him permission to enter, was the first sentence that opened the conversation in their ongoing battle. You can face it!"
"Hello, Dad. Hello, Mom."
"So you still see me as your mother, huh?" Mrs Woraphat Chalakorn, who was sipping tea, got straight to the point.
"How is it? Are you satisfied that you made me lose face?"
"What are you talking about?" Sasom pretended not to know anything and didn't even think about finding a seat, ready to walk out of his father's office at any moment.
"I don't think I've caused any trouble for Mom yet. :)"
"Don't annoy me, Lek. Do you know how humiliated I am that you rejected Uncle Long like that?"
It's true. The story is about Somsak recently rejecting "Uncle Long's" offer to be a brand ambassador for his airline, even though he knew Uncle Long and his mother had a long-standing business relationship. Somsak still dared to refuse the offer without fear.
"I just don't want to do it. Uncle Long's airline is terrible. Why would I throw away the image I've worked so hard to build on a crappy business like that?"
This time, it was clear that Mrs Woraphat Chalakorn was extremely angry. The way she slammed her teacup down on the coffee table in front of her showed it. So I guess even if it broke, I wouldn't care.
"You know, don't you, Lek, who Uncle Long's son-in-law is?" He's the son of a high-ranking military officer with considerable power. "He's helped us so many times. Don't you even think about showing him any gratitude?"
"I don't think I'm the one who should be grateful," Sasom chuckled. "It's his parents who have been so kind to him."
“Little guy!”
This time, it wasn't the mother who exploded in anger at her child, but the father, who had been quiet for a long time. But when he decided to act, he went all out without restraint, flicking the ashtray with all his might at his son's face. Luckily, the son dodged in time; otherwise, there would have been blood!
"Hey, that's going too far, Dad!"
"And who told you to argue with us!"
Sasom quickly turned back to his mother, hoping for some sympathy. But his mother remained silent, sipping her tea as if oblivious to the violence within the family, and even dared to speak to him with a straight face.
"So, are you going to do it or not?"
There's probably no reason to prolong the argument any further.
"And what will I get in return?"
He asked the question even though he already had the answer in his heart. He intended to use Po's situation as leverage because conversations with his parents were normally like a negotiation arena for small-scale investors. As long as he could generate benefits for his parents, he could always offer some of his own needs in exchange.
But instead of his mother asking, "What do you want?" as usual, this time... Mrs Woraphatchalakorn tossed a brown envelope onto the floor at his feet. Sasom quickly bent down to pick it up and opened it immediately, worried that it would be a photo of Po like the one P'Ngen had sent.
"Where did you get these pictures from, Mom?!"
But what was inside the brown envelope was even more shocking than the photograph of Po. His hands trembled uncontrollably, overwhelmed by a whirlwind of emotions. Because it was a picture of the source of the water. Old crops I haven't seen in years!
The son's utter shock brought a genuine smile to his mother's face. She put down her teacup before playing her last card—the one she had saved so meticulously: she would definitely agree to become a brand ambassador for Uncle Long's airline.
"If you agree to be a brand ambassador, I'll give you the source address." "But if you refuse to do it..."
"Well, don't expect to ever find the source of the river until you die :)"
Being so sensitive meant that, even when Po was in a deep sleep, he would still be jolted awake in the middle of the night by the intense wetness on his body.
“Ugh!”
Po immediately arched his back in response to the sensitive touch the moment he snapped out of his drowsiness. He was certain someone was now caressing his nipples with their tongue, all while "burying their head" under the oversized T-shirt he had borrowed (without permission) from the occupant of room number 13, where he was sleeping.
And when struggling proved futile, unable to shake off the person pinning him down, the victim gathered his wits and reached for the bedside lamp, intending to use the light to catch the thief red-handed.
The moment Po lifted his shirt, his feelings of indecent assault instantly vanished when he clearly saw who else was relentlessly sucking and nibbling on his pale nipples. Meanwhile, those sharp eyes gazed at Po's face with a ravenous hunger, like a wild animal that would never let its prey escape! Which cannot be anyone.
"Sasom!"
There's only him... just him alone...
