Love You Teacher

Chapter 6.

Sun sat at the teacher's desk, finding Mek surprisingly calm and happily smiling. Mek sat on the edge of the desk, gazing at him and sighing wearily.

"Sigh... Aren't you tired of running away from me all day?"

"I just wanted to see my mother..." Sun replied softly, speaking as he arranged his books for teaching.

"I told you I'd take you, but can you wait until after school? I have to work first. Luckily, Solar is free all day today. He only has teaching to do in the afternoon!"

As Pobmek spoke, he glanced at the class schedule hanging on the wall and realised he'd made a mistake. Solar was actually supposed to teach in the next period. The bell signalling the end of the class rang, causing Pobmek to clutch his head, as if a ticking time bomb was in his head.

"What should I do...?"

"Besides being a thief, can he also be a teacher? Doesn't the police arrest him?"

Sun asked with curiosity.

"I told you I'm not a thief."

"No matter what, he's just like a thief. What kind of teacher is he? The kids don't like him. Look, I'm even better than him."

"I've only been here a short time, but I've already made two friends."

"Yes, yes, you're the best!"

Sun grinned proudly, while Pobmek watched with envy. Then, Pobmek glanced at Solar's and then at Sun's class schedules, silently formulating a plan in his head.

"But there's one thing we can't beat Uncle on," Pobmek said with a cunning smile.

"what"

"I'm teaching... because we're still kids, even if Uncle is really a thief."

"Anyway, he's a better teacher."

Sun is a fighter; he doesn't give up in the face of a challenge. He pushed the chair away, standing up immediately.

"Hmm, I'm sure I'm a better teacher than Uncle!" Pobmek smiled, as if everything was going according to plan.

Inside the Grade 2/2 classroom, filled with the boisterous chatter of children playing like a flock of young birds learning to fly, Pobmek rushed in with the speed of a storm. All the children were startled, quickly sitting down and falling silent as if under a spell. Pobmek grabbed a whiteboard marker and quickly wrote something on the board before turning to the children and speaking in a serious tone that sent shivers down their spines.

"Anyone who gets up from their chair will be in trouble!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Pobmek ran out of the room immediately, as if he had something important to attend to, revealing the instructions on the whiteboard:

"Solve 10 problems on page 15."

"I'll be back soon," he wrote in large letters, causing a moment of silence among the children in the room. They exchanged puzzled glances.

Inside the P.2/1 classroom, Pobmek stood at the front with a confident demeanour, as if introducing the new president. The children in the room listened attentively, as if listening to a bedtime story.

"Okay, kids, today in English class, our teacher Solar will... Sun confidently walks over and writes the word "SUN" on the board in his own handwriting." Unlike how adults write.

"This word is pronounced 'Sun.' What does it mean? Does anyone know?" Sun asked loudly and clearly.

"The sun," Aurora quickly answered, raising her hand.

"That's right! Ten points!" Sun exclaimed happily. Elsa and Tinkerbell, who were sitting next to each other, clapped for their friend.

"Well done, Aurora!"

"Yes, yes, you did great, Aurora."

"And this is also the teacher's name!"

The children looked at each other, confused. Seeing that Pobmek was threatening, they quickly tried to rectify the situation.

"Today, Teacher Solar would like to change his name to Teacher Sun for one day, children."

"So, can I be called Anna today?" Elsa asked sweetly.

"Then may I have your name, Jai?" Four asked.

"No, no, because my real name is Sun!" Sun replied immediately.

"So, his real name is Sun, right? And it's not just Sun?" King asked curiously.

The atmosphere in the room became chaotic. All the children asked to have their names Sunged. Sun, unable to bear it any longer, grabbed a broom and started hitting the blackboard with a loud bang, making the whole room fall silent. Pobmek secretly chuckled and then whispered something to Sun.

"These days, they don't use sticks to hit children anymore."

Sun threw the broom to the floor. "Okay... today we'll learn to count from one to ten."

Let's learn English!

"But we've been learning this since first grade, Mr Sun," Elsa said with a puzzled tone of voice.

Seeing Pobmeks' smug reaction, Sun didn't want to give up. He walked over to the wall, grabbed a poster teaching body parts vocabulary, and pointed it out to the children.

"The word 'head' in English is 'head'... and 'neck' is 'neck'...."

"So what's the difference between 'neck' and 'throat,' Teacher Sun?" Aurora asked.

That exceeded Sun's expectations. Sun went short again. Pobmek tried to help, but Sun...Refusing help, he decided to resolve the situation himself.

"So, what do you think?"

Aurora paused to think. "Hmm... 'neck' probably refers to the outer throat, judging from 'necklace'. 'Throat' likely refers to the inner throat."

"Like, 'my throat hurts'."

Sun listened absentmindedly, not quite understanding, but then pretended to understand, "That's right. Beautiful."

"Clever. 10 points."

The children cheered and clapped for their friend. They noticed that Sun seemed about to teach them something. Okay, so he left the room, muttering to himself, "I guess I'll be alright..." Just then, some kids in the corner were playing loudly. Four didn't want them to disturb Sun's lesson, so he shouted to stop them, "Hey, that's too much noise over there! Teacher Sun is teaching!"

Sun walked over to watch the kids playing in the corner of the room. "Yeah, yeah, what are you guys doing—Hey!"

"Racing cars!!!"

Sun saw the kids competing to show off their model cars, so he confiscated one from a child's hand, but actually, he wanted to play with it himself.

"Don't play during class, or you'll get your hand cut off. Which class president will take notes? Name your friend."

"Wow, how could Teacher Solar not remember my name?" Miang asked in surprise.

"I told you my name is Sun! Write down your name, and then I'll give you 10 slaps!"

"Huh?" Miang was stunned.

"Teacher Sun, so can I change my name to Anna?" Elsa asked.

"Write down her name."

"Hey, why can the teacher change it, but I can't?" Elsa grumbled.

"I also want to Sunge from Tinkerbell to Tinky Winky." Tinkerbell added. The children started whining about wanting to change the name again, until Sun began to take control. The situation is not present.

Pobmek calmly walked back into classroom P.2/2, but just seconds later, he was shocked to see the entire class playing on their chairs, rocking back and forth as if riding horses. The atmosphere was chaotic and almost uncontrollable. "Hey, you! Didn't I tell you not to get up from your chairs?!" Pobmek exclaimed, shouting at the top of his lungs.

"I didn't get up from my chair, did I, teacher?" one boy replied with a playful expression.

"That's enough! I'll have them all handed over to Director Sodchuen if they don't comply!"

"As instructed by the teacher," Pobmek said, holding his head in his hands.

"Everyone's finished, teacher! Look! Am I clever?" Another girl pointed to Pobmek, who was writing the complete answer sheet on the blackboard for her classmates to copy. Pobmek held his head in his hands amidst the chaos of the children in the room.

"Screeee ...

And then, at that moment, a child's scream came from classroom 2/1. Pobmek looked up in surprise at the sound. Aurora ran over, calling out to him with a panicked expression.

"Teacher Pobmek! Teacher Solar... I mean, Teacher Sun, he's gone crazy!" Pobmek looked distressed and immediately ran to see what was going on.

Pobmek ran into the 2nd-grade classroom (2/1) and was taken aback to find it just as chaotic. He saw students being punished by being made to do sit-ups, jumping jacks, and run around the room, while Sun had the children arrange the desks in the room to create a race track. He then raced Four and King using the confiscated model cars. Sun smiled happily when his car crossed the finish line first.

"Yayyyyyy! We won!!!" Santa shouted proudly. Pobmek just stood there stunned, not knowing what to do. And then Sodchuen...Running over to see the room in its chaotic state, she was shocked. "Teacher Solar! What are you doing?!" Sodchuen shouted in alarm. Sun immediately stopped playing with the children.

"Hey, students, who made such a mess in the classroom?"

All the kids immediately pointed to Solar. triggering a flare-up of OCD, Sodchuen subtly went to arrange the table. She put everything back in its original position while asking the question.

"Teacher Solar... what happened?"

"Oh, I've told you a hundred times that my name isn't Solar! I said my name is Sun, Sun, Sun! Do you understand what I mean?!"

Santa shouted out in displeasure, leaving Sodchuen and Jee both confused and bewildered. They both turned to look and saw Mek, who was now completely at a loss for words with the situation unfolding before him.

After a while, Sun was calmly playing with a model race car in the corner of the director's office, like an innocent child. In another corner of the room, Pobmek sat dejectedly on a small chair in front of the director's desk, while Sodchuen and Jee sat opposite him.

"Teacher Pobmek ... this is serious," Sodchuen said in a serious tone, as if a decree was being uttered.

"Why is Solar like this? Why does he call himself Sun?"

"That's right," Jee added, with a questioning look.

"Why is he acting so strangely, like a child?" He paused for a moment, feeling like he was being interrogated. Every word he tried to utter was incredibly difficult. He sat stiffly, like a statue. "Solar is alright... He's fine..."

"Normal? What time is normal? This is way beyond normal." Sodchuen response.

She found Mek speechless; tiny beads of sweat appeared on his forehead and flowed down his temples and across his head.

"You don't seem normal either. Are you feeling unwell?" Pobmek quickly shook his head in denial. Sodchuen sighed. She opened a drawer, took out a fever-reducing gel from her small first-aid kit, and handed it to Pobmek.

"Prevention is better than cure."

Mek was found receiving a fever-reducing gel pack, unpacking it, and quietly applying the gel to his head.

"Teacher Jee, what should we do?"

Seeing Mek, he picked up a notebook to write something down, but he couldn't resist. He quickly stood up and grabbed Jee's hand tightly, as if he were about to snatch away something very important.

"Jee, don't record anything about Solar!"

"Then don't keep everything to yourself! You say 'it's okay, it's okay' when that's not going to solve anything!"

Fresh-faced Mek was taken aback by those words, as if struck by a shock.

This made him reminisce about his life as a boarding student. In the student dorm late at night, Mek sat reading intently, but his body, which was starting to feel feverish, gradually drifted off to sleep at his desk. In his brief dream, Phafan's voice rang out clearly, "That's amazing, isn't it? Jee got to represent the university in the academic competition."

"Even abroad, Jee has got a scholarship to come back."

Mek gazed at his book, which contained the words he had written.

"If Jee is so clever, then Mom will just adopt him as her child." Everything was blurry in that moment before he felt someone place a hand on his forehead.

"Wow...you're burning up!" Solar's voice rang out nearby. Mek tried to lift his head to reply, but all his strength vanished.

He didn't know how much time had passed. Pobmek slowly opened his eyes in bed. He saw that he was naked from the waist up, and Solar was gently wiping his body with a damp cloth. Pobmek was fully conscious, though his awareness remained hazy. Seeing him open his eyes, Solar immediately spoke up.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine... I'm nothing," Pobmek replied in a weak voice, as Solar wiped him down, sulking slightly at the same time.

"I know... You like to solve problems by yourself, but the more you do it..."

"This makes me feel even worse, knowing you think wiping me down isn't helping you at all," Pobmek said, looking at Solar, who was diligently wiping him down, and felt guilty.

"I'm sorry..."

"one....."

Solar felt sorry for him and said, "If you don't want to speak directly, then you can use magic."

"Want to see the word 'Word'?"

Pobmek thought for a moment, gazing at the small basin with a warm, damp cloth placed nearby. He thought for a moment and then spoke to Solar.

"Wipe him down..."

"I'm wiping it right now," Solar replied, looking confused.

"No... Mek laughed softly."

"I mean, my magic word is 'wipe me down.' If I'm not feeling well, you wipe me down for me."

"Just a little while."

Mek looked at Solar and spoke drowsily. Solar nodded, smiling kindly.

"Hmm, sure. If you can't manage, I'll 'wipe you down' myself," Pobmek smiled gratefully at his roommate, his future boyfriend.

Currently, the atmosphere in the director's office is tense.

A soft murmur arose from Mek; his voice was as gentle as the wind.

"Wipe him down..."

Sodchuen and Jee, among those discussing the Solar problem, turned to look at him.

Confused, Jee raised an eyebrow and asked.

"Huh? What did you say?"

He hesitated for a moment, the words stuck in his throat, almost impossible to utter. He gathered all the courage he had and finally decided to speak.

"I mean... can you help me?"

Upon hearing that, Jee and Sodchuen listened intently and immediately looked at Mek.

"That's enough."

"Enough! I'm just so smitten! You always like to do things alone!!" Solar was about to kiss him again, but Mek stopped him by covering his mouth with his hand.

"That's enough! It's embarrassing!"

The truth was revealed that they weren't the only two in the room; Sodchuen and Jee had also been quietly watching the whole situation unfold. Solar was so shocked he almost wanted to hide under the blanket, completely unaware that someone else had been in the room the whole time.

"Well...we're all grown up now, aren't we?" Sodchuen said with a smile.

"Solar just kissed you six times. I'm counting..." Jee said with a mischievous smile. "Make sure you give them both a kiss back equally... My OCD is acting up,"

Pobmek said, looking at Solar, who was now flustered. "I asked for it from these two."

"I'll help take care of you."

Solar paused for a moment before turning to whisper a question to Pobmek in a soft voice. Gentle yet full of meaning.

"Wipe me down?"

"Hmm... wipe him down." A drop of sweat appeared. Suddenly, Solar grinned so widely you could almost see all his teeth. "You're so clever for knowing how to ask others for help!"

Solar and Pobmek couldn't stop kissing. Pobmek tried to stop them, but couldn't. The situation started to get chaotic, like a newlywed couple in their honeymoon phase. It was so sweet and funny that people couldn't stand it anymore. They grabbed pillows and started playfully hitting each other. Ji just stood there laughing. The atmosphere was filled with chaos, warmth, and cuteness, making the sweetness in the air double.

Even though it seemed daunting at first, because we encountered obstacles we had never faced before. It came first, and then I chose to carry the burden alone… The four of them sat down to eat together at a table in the middle of the condo, talking and updating each other on the current situation. Pobmek explained the switch in identities...

- He had just discovered it, and everyone was brainstorming to figure out how to deal with it the next day. But once I dared to ask for help, everything Sunged. It's much less intense now...

Jee and Solar taught Pobmek the secret code gestures kids usually use. Pobmek followed awkwardly but eventually succeeded. Everyone was smiling and laughing enthusiastically. It made me realise that... I haven't faced this yet.... all alone No longer.

Mek watched as the three people laughed and talked happily. The heavy feeling that had been weighing on his shoulders gradually dissipated, like a cloud pierced by sunlight. The atmosphere in the room was filled with happiness and understanding.
