42 Merry Christmas 2022.

 

"I don't get it."

 

"Looks like fun, come on."

 

"I don't..fuck. No, no."

 

The 180-centimetre-tall man now screamed like a little child. He put the little brat in a chokehold and got themselves out of the cursed site. They were supposed to be on a Christmas-themed hangout, but why did he want to go to a haunted house!! And why was it in Christmas festivities anyway!!!

 

"Geez." Team's shoulders shook with barely held-back laughter.

 

"What are you afraid of? Look at the kids. The ghost's even funny." He pointed to the ghost swaying left and right. "There are also cute spiders over there."

 

"Cute my arse." Phawin looked at the elevated rail that led the visitors to all kinds of ghosts. Nope, he wouldn't do that. He held the junior's hand and walked through the crowd. Fortunately, they'd eaten; he'd have lost his appetite otherwise.

 

"Then what should we do?" Team looked around. Win's eyes caught the white Ferris Wheel. He pulled at Team's wrist. "Let's do this."

 

Team raised his head at the enormous Ferris Wheel standing tall in front of them.

"Hia," the young man forced himself to speak, pointing at it.

 

"Why... is it spinning so fast?"

 

"That's normal." Win raised an eyebrow.

 

"No, I think it's spinning fast."

 

"It's not a roller coaster!! Come quick." Win got themselves the tickets, ignoring the protest.

 

The two young men were panting from hanging out all day. Christmas this year took lots of energy.

 

The Ferris Wheel took off. Team shut his eyes tight, holding Win's hand. He slowly opened his eyes a little after, finding it wasn't as fast as he had thought.

 

"Once I'm up here, I don't feel much?" Fear gone, he latched on to the window. "Nice view."

 

Win shook his head, smiling at Team's behaviour. Though they hardly felt the movement, one round quickly passed by.

 

"..a hundred baht per round."

 

Phawin blurted out, laughing. He was the one paying, but Team did the complaining.

 

"Then make this worth four hundred baht."

 

Team pouted, looking at Win, then he looked around himself.

 

"The scene in cartoons is so fake, the one with a couple kissing on a Ferris Wheel."

 

"Why?"

 

"Look, one round passed by so quickly. Time runs out before anyone can kiss."

 

They were about to finish a second round.

 

"So what?"

 

"Well, we shouldn't waste our time." Team nodded to himself.

 

"What?"

 

"There are 2.5 rounds left. I can still do it."

 

"What...Oof." Before Win said anything, he was forced to lean down. At least 2.5 rounds gave them 2.5 times.

 

"Thank you, please get down there." The staff smiled at the two male customers who had just got off the Ferris Wheel. They both looked in opposite directions. The blond licked his lips and mumbled.

 

"Grilled squid flavour."

 

A Christmas Day with Thai warm weather, grilled squid and a dipping sauce-flavoured kiss.

 

Phawin held his lover's hand tightly and smiled.
