HEMP ROPE

41.

"I don't understand."

The young man from the swimming club howled. Now he and his three friends were reviewing their lessons via FaceTime. Since going out was prohibited due to COVID-19, they had to take advantage of technology.

"I have explained for the third time already, Team!" His faculty friend face-palmed.

"But I don't get it. Pharm, help me."

"I'm not good with this subject." Pharm shook his head.

"Team, why are you covering up in a blanket?" Manow, on the other side of the screen, frowned. An image from Team's side seemed dark.

"It's cold. The A/C is cold." Team curled in on himself.

"Then raise the temperature." She suggested.

"I'm lazy. Ack!!"

"Huh?" His three friends looked puzzled at Team yelping and face-planting into the bed.

"It's nothing. I lost my balance, let's continue." Team looked up at the screen again with a lopsided grin. With that, the tutor started again.

"So when there's more supply...Team, are you ok? You look red." Everyone's attention turned to Team, yet he shook his head.

"Ok, ugh.." His hands crumpled a bed sheet.

"I don't think so." Pharm leaned on the screen. "Tea."

"Ugh, fuck!!!" The ok-sayer yelled, startling everyone. They could only watch through the black screen as chaos rang on the other side. The Blanket covered the camera.

"Quit fooling around, Hia. You're heavy!"

"I'm not fooling around."

"Yeah, from the way you touched me, you are."

"Just touching, not removing"

"Argggggggg9ggg!) )฿?+_/"

Fwup

Team left the room

“...."

“......”

"What removing??" The tutor tried to understand.

"Uhhh." Pharm lowered his face, paling.

"Maybe square root?" Manow attempted.

The rest of them fell silent before resuming their economics lesson, leaving behind their friend's square root and his absence.
