HEMP ROPE

23.

"Alright."

A large cardboard box was placed in the centre of the room, pulling Team's attention from his cellphone.

"What is it, Hia?"

"Novels, my cousins asked me to donate them to the university." Win twisted his arms to relieve the soreness. The university accepts all kinds of books for donations. Be it novels or comics. Win's cousins put it together in a crate and brought it to him.

"May I take a look?" Team tossed his cellphone and clambered in to look, eyes shining.

"Of course." Win opened the box for him, and he was told he could keep any books.

With permission, Team happily dug in. This one was good, that one looked cool, and detective fiction looked interesting.

"I'll take a shower."

His good old junior waved him away; his eyes were still on the books. Win had to shake his head.

Geez...

A while after, Win walked out of the bathroom, smelling fresh. He dried his hair and grabbed a soft drink from the fridge. His eyes glanced at Team rooting to his spot, ignoring all else. What's he reading? Win's eyebrows drew in. He sneaked in behind to see the novel in the Team's hand. A slender body struggled in strong arms, with a sweet, moaning voice. His arms were wrapped up in a big tie.

"Please don't."

"You can't escape me."

"Don't, ah!" The hulky body ground in deep.

"What the fuck are you reading!?" Win hollered. Team jumped; the book fell out of his hands.

"Fuck! Hia, you scared me!"

The tattooed guy picked up the book. "What the hell? Paramour's Passion??? You read this thing?"

Team felt his face burn. "It was in the box! I doubt whether this one can be donated; I have to check it." He gave an excuse.

Win scanned over the book and face-palmed. He called his cousin and received apologies for putting it in the wrong box. Now he had to keep it until he returned to her.

"Tie, rope, what the hell? So much equipment." He looked at his junior again. Team kept his eyes glued to a TV and just ate Lay's. You naughty bastard

"Hmm. If you wanna try any of these, just say so.." He didn't even finish his sentence. Lay's packet flew into his vision before smacking him in the face.

"Try it, my ass!!!!"

"You!!!! Clean the room, now!"

The war continued while its cause, as depicted in the novel, was forgotten.
