Billionaire Biker Boy

Chapter 55 - Samut’s Merit Points.

The curtain had fallen on the drama, but the lives of its cast members still had to go on. Jenjira, standing by the curb waiting for a taxi, glanced at Mathukorn and Samut, who had followed her out.

The woman discreetly made a 'Wkay' hand signal before hailing a taxi to head home. On the way, she worked hard to build up her emotions, ruffling her hair into a mess. By the time she reached home, tears were already streaming down her face. Suwit and Kanittha, who were home that day, were shocked when their daughter walked in sobbing uncontrollably. The story spilt out of their beloved daughter's mouth, and the older man clenched his fists tightly.

...Someone has to pay for this.

As for Mathukorn, once the woman had gotten into her taxi, he turned to thank Samut.

"Thank you so much for helping out. If we'd just broken up normally, it wouldn't have ended this quickly... Oh, and please thank Mr Win for helping with the plan, too."

"Oh, it's no problem. We're happy to help." The meddler replied before asking, "Are you okay? Do you want me to stay with you for a bit?"

The beautiful man smiled gratefully. "I'll be fine. It hurts, but I'm used to it by now. I just need a week to rest and recover, and then we'll see each other in class, okay?"

Mathukorn then looked down at the elegant ring on his finger.

...So this is what it feels like to wear a ring that doesn't fit.

The beautiful man raised his hand and slipped the ring off his finger, then stuffed it into the small zippered pocket of his bag. He'd have to delete some photos on Facebook, too.

"Don't think too much about it, P'Honey. I believe there are still good people out there waiting for you."

Samut said encouragingly when he saw the sorrow on the captivating face. Mathukorn smiled in response before hailing a taxi to return to his condo.

..Leaving Samut standing there, deep in thought.

Meanwhile, the man who had been drenched in a sugary drink and left dishevelled, even after cleaning himself up, received help from the store staff. They ran out to buy him a plain T-shirt to change into. Luckily, his dark pants weren't too stained, and his shoes only needed a quick wipe to remove the stickiness, allowing him to head home.

Since the incident, Sirichok had handled everything with extreme embarrassment. Being someone who was easily humiliated, he didn't dare make a scene. Honestly, he didn't even know who to lash out at, as the culprits had all disappeared so quickly. Sirichok then called for a taxi to head home, utterly defeated

...What should I do next? What will Jen's parents say? Will the deal I've been working on still go through?

...And if I go back to beg Honey for forgiveness, will he forgive me?

As for his job at Sardina, if things went as the vice president had said, he wouldn't be fired, but he wouldn't get a promotion for a long time. Annual raises would be out of the question, and bonuses? Forget about it. The thought made him furious. It was all because of Samut. If that little guy hadn't shouted at him, none of this would've happened. Or had that petite man deliberately set him up?

He was probably mad that Sirichok hadn't reciprocated his advances. But he still had Nittaya, didn't he? The man pulled out his phone to message Nittaya, knowing full well that if he messaged Jenjira or Mathukorn, they wouldn't reply. They might've even blocked him by now.

Yaya, what're you up to?: Oat

I've got a little errand to run. : Oat

I probably can't come back with you today.: Oat

Nittaya read the messages but didn't reply.

Sirichok clenched his fists tightly.

..Has she already known?

When the taxi pulled up in front of his house in Thonburi, Sirichok found that even someone like Anant, who rarely left the house, already knew. His father slapped him hard across the face the moment he stepped into the living room.

"So you're back, you little shit. What kind of mess have you made? Why are you so despicable? Do you know Suwit called me and yelled until my ears were ringing... And not only did you cheat on Jen, but you also went after a man? What were you thinking? I never thought I'd have such a disgraceful child!"

Anant hit Sirichok repeatedly until the younger man had to push him away. Luckily, his father only stumbled back onto the sofa.

"..Get out. Get out of my house. I don't have a son like you!" Anant yelled. But Sirichok could only retreat to his room. How could he leave empty-handed? He'd bide his time until his mother returned. Then he went to shower, change clothes, and pack his belongings and valuables into a suitcase.

...Just in case he really was kicked out.

When his mother, Chuleepon, returned home, she looked deeply disappointed but didn't kick him out. Instead, she tried to reason with Anant.

"Don't kick Oat out. He's still our son. Please, I'm begging you."

Anant huffed and puffed, slightly calmer but still filled with rage and disappointment. "From now on, he's not my son. If he wants to stay, fine, but tell him not to show his face to me again."

Sirichok, standing at the top of the stairs, clenched his fists tightly.

...My parents never truly loved me.

...Neither did my siblings. They're all too absorbed in their own lives.

...Just wait. Once I have more money, I'll leave this house and never look back.

Nittaya, who had witnessed the incident firsthand, was still slightly in shock. Sakawjai glanced at her and couldn't help but feel pity. Earlier that morning, Samut had whispered to her, asking for help. He wanted her to record a video of someone getting exposed for their infidelity and to bring along someone he suspected was also a victim of the person about to be exposed.

The plump woman agreed out of sympathy for her fellow women. Samut then explained the plan and handed her a 500-baht bill. So, during lunch, Sakawjai told her group that she had an errand to run and let her two friends go out to eat on their own. She then headed to the canteen.

..And when she spotted her target, she asked to sit with her.

"Yaya, eating alone? Mind if I join you?"

"Go ahead. Where is everyone else?"

"P'Pern and Botan went out. I didn't feel like walking. As for O... over there."

Sakawjai gestured toward two men in matching blue shirts, eating together without a care in the world. Nittaya pursed her lips slightly but said nothing. After they finished eating, Sakawjai suggested something.

"Yaya, can you come with me to buy some snacks at the coffee shop downstairs? I feel awkward going in alone."

The one being invited rolled her eyes slightly but agreed to accompany her. But before they even reached the shop, they heard a commotion from a group of people. Sakawjai raised her phone to record the scene. Nittaya stood frozen, watching the events unfold.

...There was Sirichok, with two people claiming to be his partners. And one of them was a man.

When the incident ended and the handsome vice president had left, Sakawjai turned to Nittaya again. "Phew, the drama's over. He deserves it. Anyway, let's go buy those snacks, Yaya."

"Uh... Can you go alone? I have a stomachache." Nittaya briskly walked away, leaving Sakawjai standing there.

"What's her deal... Is she really in pain, or is she just in shock?" But the plump woman didn't dwell on it. Her mission was complete. Sakawjai then went to buy snacks with the vice president's generous tip.

After parting ways with Mathukorn, Samut headed up to the 18th floor to deliver the drinks and snacks Mathukorn had brought.

"P'Win, do you know how hot it is outside? Is it really January? Is this Bangkok or Hell?"

Wonchana, seated in his executive chair, looked up and smiled at the grumbling figure approaching from afar.

"Well, Thailand doesn't really have winter."

As the complainer walked around the desk to grab his cocoa, Wonchana spun his chair and wrapped a Strong arm around the smaller man's waist, causing Samut to lose his balance and land on his sturdy lap.

"P'Win! What're you doing? P'Kate might walk in!"

Samut was flustered by the heart-racing position.

"No one dares come in unless I call them... And how long were you standing in the sun? Your body is so warm. You'll get sick again."

As Wonchana hugged the warm, fragrant little puppy in his arms, the puppy relaxed and melted into the gentle embrace. "I was only standing there chatting for a bit... I feel so bad for P'Honey. He seems really heartbroken."

"Hmm, that's life. He'll get over it eventually. And this, too, shall pass. Soon, it'll just be a memory."

"Sigh.. What about Oat? I didn't see him when I came in."

"He's probably cleaning up behind the store. I tipped the staff, so they're likely taking good care of him. I also told him he could go home. As for the video, Sakawjai already sent it to me. So, what's the plan? Should we post it or just send it to HR?"

Wonchana didn't want to utterly destroy that man. After all, Sirichok's actions, however flawed, had indirectly brought this small, precious person into his life. Samut hesitated for a moment before leaning into the strong chest and softly pleading.

"Just send it to HR...and could you go easy on the punishment?" The small man let out a deep sigh and elaborated, "Truth be told, just having people gossip about what happened is probably punishment enough. I don't think P'Honey or P'Jen are looking to press the matter further... Besides, he was a good friend once."

Wonchana smiled at the soft-hearted man, his large hand gently stroking the smaller arm.

"Alright, I'll let HR know."

Then the larger man began to tease in return, planting a kiss on the smaller man's temple and asking for a reward.

"..The mission was a success. Don't I deserve a tip?"

Samut pushed himself up and gave him a sharp glare.

"Should I report you to HR as well? And honestly, I was just a meddler in this whole thing. I wasn't even directly involved, so why do I keep getting charged for everything?"

Wonchana laughed at the sight of the blushing cheeks. "But do you like it when I collect my dues, hmm?"

The one being 'charged' rolled his eyes and huffed.

"I do, but it's embarrassing!"

"There's no need to be embarrassed. It's normal for people in love."

Whether it was the tone or the deep desires in his own heart, the bashful man mustered his courage and gave Wonchana his reward, leaving both their hearts brimming with warmth. But Wonchana had to stop himself when the deep emotions threatened to escalate into something more.

"P'Win! It's past work hours already!" Samut suddenly remembered. The tall man chuckled. "Who would dare scold you when you're with the vice president?"

"Hmph, you're abusing your power again."

The slightly bruised lips pouted in mock annoyance, but despite his words, the smaller man didn't get up from the sturdy lap. Wonchana still held his waist firmly, refusing to let go, and continued to nuzzle him affectionately. Samut, however, paused when he noticed two boxes of snacks nearby.

I wonder how P'Honey is doing right now?

His small hand reached out to open one of the boxes, revealing six round puff pastries filled with bright yellow salad cream and garnished with a single cilantro leaf.

"Wow, shrimp cocktails! I haven't had these in ages."

"Want to eat them now?" Wonchana stopped his nuzzling to ask attentively.

"I'll save them for tonight... I think I'll go for a run with you today. I don't want to take classes with another instructor since P'Honey will probably take a few days off." Samut sighed quietly.

"He probably needs time to heal," Wonchana agreed.

Out of nowhere, Samut thought of another woman. I wonder how P'Yaya is doing right now?

With that thought, Samut sprang to his feet. Wonchana let him go without protest. The smaller man grabbed his half-finished cocoa and told the room's owner,

"Save one box of snacks for me, and you can give the other to the secretaries."

He wasn't sure how Nittaya might react if he brought the snacks down to share.

..If they're tasty, I'll buy more for the trio later.

"Why don't you take the snacks down to them yourself, O?"

Although all of his secretaries were kind to the smaller man, Wonchana wanted Samut to interact with them more. Samut didn't refuse and even gave the mastermind another reward. Wonchana grabbed the small hand again before whining, "Doing that makes me not want to let you leave. Can't I just lock you up here in the room?"

"P'Vice President, no slacking off. If your work isn't done, we're not going to the gym tonight."

Samut couldn't help but laugh when he saw the ever-composed vice president pout like him when things didn't go his way.

...Why is P'Win so adorable?

When Samut reached the procurement department, no one scolded him; he also found out that Nittaya had already taken leave and gone home.

"I think they were really dating. She's probably heartbroken, which is why she left," Sakawjai whispered as the smaller man settled into his seat. Samut let out a heavy sigh. Everywhere he looked, all he saw were people in pain. Even the one who caused it all probably felt like his world was falling apart by now. But still...

..You reap what you sow.

He was lucky to have seen Sirichok's true nature beforehand. But if he hadn't known anything, would he have succeeded in courting Oat? Sirichok had once expressed interest and jealousy. But it probably wasn't serious.

..Because the moment he rejected him, Sirichok disappeared without a word.

Sigh, whatever. It didn't matter anymore. Now, he had a wonderful, perfect boyfriend, a bright future ahead, and he'd helped three people escape from a web of deceit and karma. Shouldn't my merit points increase by now?

Though his focus wavered, Samut diligently returned to his work. Negotiating with suppliers kept his golden skills sharp, but he no longer pressured or pushed sellers excessively.

Until a LINE notification chimed. The small man smiled when he saw the sender's name, but the smile faded as he read the full message.

..So all that merit doesn't help at all?
