Billionaire Biker Boy

Chapter 48 - I Don't Toss and Turn.

At Hat Yai International Airport, as they stepped off the plane and into the terminal, Samut sneezed three times in a row. Wonchana quickly reached out with the back of his hand to check the smaller man's forehead.

"It's fine, P'Win. Just the usual. The weather's changed a bit, but I've been doing much better lately. Probably because I've been wearing a mask. I don't really catch colds seriously anymore," came the muffled reply from beneath the face mask.

The taller man relaxed and said, "I'll take you to get an allergy test sometime."

"Alright, let's go grab our bags," Samut replied.

Even though Samut’s bag was a small backpack that could've been carried onto the plane, he'd checked it in along with Wonchana's luggage. Wonchana's suitcase wasn't large, but it exceeded the carry-on size limit.

Once they retrieved their bags and reached the exit, Samut suddenly dashed toward a man with a well-proportioned build, standing at 177 centimetres tall, with fair skin typical of those of Chinese descent. Though his eyes weren't as large as Samut’s, they still had faint double eyelids. From a distance, he looked far more Chinese than his younger brother.

"P'Seaaa!" Samut threw himself into the open arms of the man, clearly missing him dearly.

"Did you miss your little brother?"

"Yeah, I missed you. So, how was Bangkok? As dreamy as you imagined?" the older brother teased, knowing full well what had transpired. The younger pouted in response.

"Has both good and bad sides," Samut replied.

Meanwhile, the Bangkok native, juggling a backpack, a suitcase, and a shopping bag from the airport, approached and greeted the older brother, who was still hugging his sibling tightly, with a wai.

"Hello, P'Sea."

Chonlatee returned the greeting with a nod. "Yeah. No need to be so polite next time. We're only a year apart. I don't want to feel old. Let's go. It's getting late, and Mom will worry."

With that, the group headed to a relatively new mid-sized Japanese car. In less than half an hour, they arrived at a spacious single-story house. The property was adjacent to a large warehouse-like building, which, despite its size, was quiet and serene. Once the car was parked in the garage, Samut bolted out to embrace an older woman in simple home attire who was waiting for them. The small man hugged his mother tightly, and Sinee hugged her youngest son back, gently rubbing his back with affection.

"I missed you so much," the youngest son said, his voice tinged with emotion as tears welled up in his eyes.

"I missed you too, O... How have you been? Are you working hard, my boy?"

"I'm working so hard, Mom. Super hard! But my boss keeps tempting me to slack off," the model employee tattled to his mother.

Sinee laughed before looking up at the tall man who was pulling along the luggage and greeted her with a wai.

"Hello, Auntie," Wonchana greeted politely.

"Hello." Sinee returned the wai.

Samut then introduced them. "Mom, this is P'Win. He's the one I told you about.  the one whose motorbike I rode on. His name really is Win, but he's not a motorbike taxi driver. He's the vice president of the company I work for. And also..." The youngest son hesitated for a moment, blushing before continuing, "my soon-to-be boyfriend."

Sinee took another look at the tall man standing before her. A well-built, handsome young man with an air of leadership and a composed demeanour. Everything about him seemed impeccable. From their conversations over the past month, she'd already gathered the basics of the situation.

...Samut liked this man.

And Chonlatee had mentioned that this man wanted to invest in a business for Samut.

..But can someone like him really be interested in my dorky son?

"Please take care of me, Auntie," Wonchana said earnestly.

There was something indescribable about the aura emanating from the tall man that made Sinee feel a slight fondness for him. Nonetheless, she wasn't ready to fully trust him just yet. And the strange feeling of her son introducing him was something she wasn't used to.

"Alright, make yourself at home. Make yourself at home. Come on, let's go inside before the mosquitoes get you," Sinee said, wrapping an arm around Samut’s shoulders and leading him into the house. The two men followed behind, carrying the luggage.

"Go shower and rest. We'll talk in the morning," Chonlatee suggested "I had them clean up the spare room, but it only has a mattress and a fan. There's no air conditioning. Will you be okay, Win?" Sinèe asked the tall guest.

"I'll be fine," he replied without fuss.

...I've slept in tents before.

But the smaller man hesitated for a moment, suddenly feeling concerned for the city dweller.

"Actually, P'Win can sleep in my room. The bed's big enough, and I don't toss and turn."

Neither the mother nor the brother objected, as they didn't believe the tall man would do anything inappropriate in their home. The guest, however, felt a bit awkward. But in the end, he followed the room's owner upstairs without complaint.

Wonchana carried his bag into the warm-toned bedroom, furnished with pine wood furniture and cream-brown curtains. The room's owner turned on the air conditioner before asking, "P'Win, do you want to shower first?"

"You go ahead, O. I can wait."

"Alright, P'Win, just wait a bit. You can grab a book from the shelf to read if you'd like." Samut opened the wardrobe to take out two towels and his pyjamas. He then placed a towel for his guest before darting into the bathroom. Wonchana took the opportunity to look around the room.

The belongings were minimal. Aside from a small wardrobe, there was a desk and a small bookshelf. The shelves held a complete set of a famous English novel. a few fantasy novels, and textbooks on the lower shelves. He walked over to the neatly organised desk. A small shelf was attached to the wall beside it.

His eyes landed on the photo frames displayed on the shelves. The largest frame on the wall was a family photo of the parents and their two sons, with a tiny Samut sitting on his mother's lap.

It must've been taken when Samut was about three years old. The newest frame on the top shelf was a graduation photo of Samut in his gown, flanked by his proud mother and older brother, all smiling at the camera.

A smaller frame beside it showed a skinny teenage boy standing by the sea, carrying a small child of about 4 on his back. The tiny hands were clutching the teenager's hair, and the boy still managed to smile. Hahaha. What a mischievous little rascal.

Wonchana smiled fondly at the photo, but his smile faltered when he noticed a pair of heart-shaped metal frames on the next shelf. The frames, with a rotating glass centre for photos, contained selfies of Samut and Sirichok in various poses, both in student uniforms and casual clothes, a total of four pictures. But then, his perfectly shaped lips curved into a smile, unbothered. Because he knew Samut wasn't a fool.

He turned the frames back to their original position and picked up the first volume of the famous novel series to pass the time. When Samut finished showering, Wonchana grabbed his things and went in to shower as well. When he came out, he saw the room's owner, now with dry hair, sitting on the bed playing with a new iPad. Wonchana glanced at the desk, and a smile tugged at his lips. The two frames were gone.

And his smile widened further when he walked over to pick up the book he'd been reading and noticed the frames lying face down in the trash can, along with the torn photos.

"What're you doing?" Wonchana asked as he returned, Samut holding his smartphone up to scan a QR code on the iPad screen. He leaned over and saw it was the interface of a banking app.

"Buying an e-book. The book I wanted is on sale," Samut replied

"Why not just buy it with a card? I already linked my credit card for you."

"No, buying through the website is cheaper. Plus, if you spend over 500 baht, you get an extra 3% discount. And the author said if we buy through their link, they get a bigger share."

"How about I give you a book budget every month?" Wonchana teased, nudging the frugal man.

"No need. You've already given me so much. It's enough," Samut replied with consideration.

"But I want to take care of you, O," the sweet-talker said, taking the smaller hand in his own. "Soon enough, what's mine will be yours too, O."

════[changbins_delulu_wife]════

A beautiful young man glanced at a notification on his Facebook chat and clicked on it, but there was no new message. He closed and reopened the app.

..But the number "1' still wouldn't disappear.

"Honey, do you want some of this dessert?" the man beside him asked, pointing to the treat. Mathukorn closed the app, losing interest. "No, it's too late for sweets. Or are you hungry, Oat?"

"Not really. I just thought you liked this shop's desserts," Oat replied.

"You're sweet... Let's go browse instead. What do you want for a New Year's gift?"

"Nothing in particular. How about we look for matching items and exchange them?"

"Sure, what should we get?"

"Let's go see some rings," Sirichok suggested.

Mathukorn's alluring eyes widened, and a blush of joy appeared on his cheeks. Without hesitation, he followed his lover to the jewellery section, where Sirichok led him into a well-known brand store.

"Honey, pick whichever style you like. We'll exchange rings. I've been saving up for six months just for this," Sirichok said generously.

The pretty-faced man smiled brightly. He knew his lover wasn't wealthy. At first, he'd thought this relationship might just be another one bought with money, like before. But Sirichok had made him feel special. He was attentive and not greedy, never trying to take advantage. Still, Mathukorn often gave him money, wanting his lover to live more comfortably. He never thought there'd be a day they'd exchange rings.

Mathukorn asked to see couple rings, and the staff brought out several designs for them to choose from. In the end, he chose a simple white gold ring with a wave-like pattern and a sandblasted finish, adorned with a single small diamond on each ring.

The saleswoman stacked the rings together to demonstrate. "For this pair, when you take them off and place them together like this, they form a heart shape surrounding both diamonds. It's really adorable. Please try them on."

The two men tried the rings on their left ring fingers, but Sirichok's was slightly loose. He turned to the staff and asked, "Do you have a smaller size?"

"This design is the last pair we have in stock. We can send it to the factory to resize, but there will be a faint mark," the staff explained.

"Honey, do you want to pick a different design?" Sirichok asked his partner.

"What if you wear it on your right hand? Would it fit better?" Mathukorn suggested.

Sirichok switched the ring to his right hand, and it fit perfectly. Mathukorn tried the same and found that it fit, though it was a bit snug. So the pretty man concluded, "Let's wear them on our right hands, then. In some countries, couples prefer wearing rings on their right hands."

Since the couple rings were on promotion, the price dropped from over fifty thousand baht to just under forty thousand. Sirichok pulled out his phone and said to his partner, "Let's use your card, Honey. I'll transfer twenty thousand to you."

"Alright," Mathukorn replied, handing over his credit card to the staff. Sirichok immediately transferred the money. Having recently received two instalments from his future father-in-law, he wanted to give his beloved Honey something special.

After completing the payment, Sirichok led Mathukorn to a seating area near a New Year's photo zone. Taking out the ring box, Sirichok spoke with a serious tone, "Even though my family can't accept who I am, and I can't take you to meet them, I want you to know... I love you, Honey. I won't leave you."

Mathukorn's eyes welled up with tears, his lips trembling, but he replied with joy, " I understand. I love you, too, Oat. Let's just keep going like this. Someday, people will accept us more."

Sirichok smiled and took the smaller ring, slipping it onto Mathukorn's finger. "Honey, wear it on your left hand so people know you're taken. As for mine, I'll try wearing it on my left hand first. It's not that loose."

Mathukorn nodded happily. Once the rings were on, Sirichok lifted the beautiful man's delicate hand and kissed it, ignoring the stares of those around them. Mathukorn then took the other ring and placed it on Sirichok's finger.

However, instead of kissing Sirichok's hand, he rested his face on his lover's shoulder. Sirichok wrapped his arms around Mathukorn and pressed a kiss to his hair. Sirichok sighed quietly. If he really had to marry Jenjira, would he still be able to keep Mathukorn? Would Mathukorn accept it if he explained that the marriage was forced and that he had agreed to stay like this? Though Sirichok didn't know what the future held for them, one thing was certain...

...His feelings for this beautiful man were genuine.

[At 6 AM on a Thursday]

Wonchana's internal clock woke him up. His almond-shaped eyes opened to the sight of a soft-colored ceiling, and he remembered that he wasn't at home but in Hat Yai. He immediately turned to his right, where the little one should've been sleeping.

..Empty.

But the sensation of something pressing against his right hip made him lift his head. He saw a bundle of a duvet half-draped over him. This time, a small foot was sticking out from the duvet pile.

The tall man smiled to himself, recalling last night's words: 'I don't toss and turn.'

..Like hell!

Wonchana carefully dug through the duvet until he found a round head resting on his hip like a pillow. Gently, he lifted the room owner and placed him properly on the pillow, tucking the duvet snugly around him. Then, he got up to shower and dress before heading downstairs to see if the household was awake. He found Sinee sitting on the large sofa, watching the morning news. He greeted her first.

"Good morning, Auntie."

"Oh, have a seat.. Is O awake yet?" Sinee asked her son's soon-to-be boyfriend.

"Thank you. He's still asleep. I didn't want to wake him since he stayed up late reading last night," the guest replied, pausing briefly before asking, "Is there anything I can help with this morning?"

"No, it's fine. We have someone to take care of things... Make yourself at home," Sinee reassured him.

"Thank you very much."

"Is there anything you can't eat? I'll let the chef know," she asked.

"I can eat anything. I can even handle very spicy food," Wonchana replied, knowing well how famous southern curries were for their heat.

Sinee chuckled lightly. "This is a Chinese household, not entirely southern. Breakfast today is fish porridge. After we eat, I'll take you on a city tour."

She then lowered the TV volume and asked, "So, are you serious about courting O?"
