Billionaire Biker Boy

Chapter 32 - Reward

Samut slept for about forty minutes. The small figure jolted awake upon realising his sleeping position, the sudden movement causing Wonchana, who had been resting his eyes, to open his as well. Little Chihuahua quickly sat up.

"Ah, did I fall asleep? How long was I out?"

Wonchana glanced at his wristwatch and replied, "You were asleep for just about half an hour."

"Why didn't you wake me up? Were you uncomfortable, P'Win?"

The small hands began to massage the strong thigh that he'd used as his pillow. Samut didn't think much of it, but Wonchana did, and for the first time, the larger man felt flustered. He stopped the smaller hands, halting the heart-fluttering gesture.

"No need to massage me. I'm not uncomfortable. You're as light as a feather," he said. Seeing the younger man's still-drowsy expression, he added, "Go wash your face, and then let's go for a walk."

Samut got up to wash his face again. When he came out of the bathroom, he started gathering snacks, cups, clothes, and helmets, prompting Wonchana to quickly intervene.

"Leave those here. I'll bring them over tomorrow."

Samut nodded. The two then headed out to the car, and Wonchana drove them onto the main road, where a high-end mall stood at the entrance of the alley.

Since it was a holiday, traffic wasn't too bad. Although many cars were waiting to enter the mall, Wonchana had reserved a parking space, so they didn't waste much time. Once inside, the first stop was the children's toys and clothing section.

"Wow, there are so many toys these days!"

Samut was amazed by the variety of toys.

"These toys are categorised by age," Wonchana pointed to the corner of a box containing developmental toys, where the appropriate age range for each item was indicated.

Samut didn't contribute much as the sales staff were constantly offering advice. Still, he found the experience enjoyable. After picking out several items suitable for six-month-olds and three-to-four-year-olds, including soft plush dolls, they moved on to the children's clothing section. Naturally, they couldn't miss the new collection of superhero and princess outfits.

Once their shopping spree was over, they loaded everything into the car. Wonchana then suggested, "There's a great Japanese restaurant here, but let's head across the street instead. There's a wider variety of food over there."

"P'Win, you don't have to take me to eat Japanese food every day. I can eat street noodles too," Samut said modestly.

"I know, but I want you to try all kinds of delicious food." The younger man gave a sweet smile, then said something that completely killed the mood.

"P'Win, don't forget to get the parking ticket stamped, or we'll end up paying like last time."

Last time, when Wonchana had taken him shopping, he'd forgotten to bring the parking ticket down with him. By the time he remembered, they were already driving out, resulting in a parking fee of nearly 100 baht despite having spent tens of thousands of baht shopping.

Wonchana laughed, pulled out the parking ticket, and went to get it stamped at the service counter. He then led the smaller man across the street to another mall. As they passed a famous American body care boutique, he guided Samut inside to check out some air fresheners that the younger man seemed to like. But after sniffing just a few samples, Samut protested,

"Ugh, I'm dizzy. My nose is going numb. I'll just take the same scent as you, P'Win."

Wonchana laughed. The inexperienced younger man had been sniffing too close and inhaling too deeply. Wonchana ended up buying two sets—one for the bedroom and one for downstairs.

"I picked different scents for each. Don't leave them plugged in all the time, or they'll be too strong. Oh, and we should get a plug with a switch so you don't have to keep unplugging them."

Samut nodded. The two continued browsing until they reached another building with a food zone. But before they could go far, a voice called out.

"Mr Win!"

They turned to see a middle-aged man with the air of a wealthy businessman, dressed in an expensive polo shirt, with a curvaceous woman in a tight black dress clinging to his arm.

Wonchana greeted him, "Hello, Mr Chien. Are you out for a walk?"

"Haha, yes. Watching a movie, having dinner. And you, Mr Win? Here for dinner?"

"Yes," Wonchana replied. Noticing the curious look on the smaller man, he added, while wrapping an arm around Samut’s shoulder, "I'm here with my soon-to-be boyfriend."

Wonchana didn't elaborate further. He didn't introduce Samut by name, and didn't inquire about the woman by the man's side. Because Wichien's wife wasn't this woman.

Though Samut was naive and tended to see the good in people, he couldn't miss the shift in Wichien's gaze. The man's demeanour changed the moment he realised the nature of their relationship. The smile on his lips, however, remained unchanged.

While Wichien might despise homosexuals and had never known about his business partner's preferences, his merchant instincts still worked well upon learning the truth.

"So, Mr Win, would you mind joining me at my table? I have something to discuss regarding the machinery you're planning to purchase."

Wonchana smirked coldly. He, too, had noticed the change in attitude. In the past, he mightn't have refused, but with such disdainful and condescending looks, dining together. would surely ruin his appetite.

"I'm sorry, but I have a policy of not working on my days off. Let's discuss it another time, Mr Chien," Wonchana replied calmly.

"Hahaha, no problem. I'll have my secretary schedule another meeting."

"Sure. See you then."

Wichien then walked away with the woman, his hand sliding over her backside, which Samut couldn't help but notice.

"Is he your client? His girlfriend's pretty. Is she an actress?"

Mr Chien sells machinery. And he's married, but not to her," Wonchana replied flatly, leaving the petite man wide-eyed. The taller man wrapped an arm around Samut’s shoulder and led him toward a restaurant.

"Don't bother with people like that. It ruins your appetite. What do you feel like eating? Italian food? Pizza? Spaghetti? Or there's another place with Western food: fish steaks, hamburgers, spaghetti, pancakes, and cocoa."

"Pancakes!" Samut said with a sweet smile.

Wonchana ruffled the smaller man's hair affectionately.

"Alright, let's go."

After they ordered their food, Samut, still with something on his mind, asked, "That Mr Chien earlier. You don't like him, do you?"

Wonchana sighed before answering honestly, "I just started disliking him. Not because he's with another woman who isn't his wife, though that's despicable, but because of the way he looked down on you and me. I've decided not to do business with him anymore."

"I thought it was just me imagining things. The way he looked at us. I don't even know how to describe it."

"Probably a homophobe."

"Won't that affect work?" Samut asked, still concerned.

"Not at all. There are plenty of suppliers for the machinery I need, and we deal with them as appropriate. We're not tied to any one supplier. Oh, and the new machinery is for expanding Sardina's production line. I'm planning to make canned salmon in broth."

"Wow, that's awesome! No wonder you're hiring more staff, right?"

"Exactly. There will be a team meeting for Sardina this week. Do you want to join?"

"Oh, no way. I'm just a tiny new employee. If I join, ill get so many glares," Samut said with a glare.

"If anyone glares at you, just tell me. Hero Win will take care of them," the vice president said as if it were a trivial matter.

"Mr Vice President, you're abusing your authority," the new employee puffed his cheeks, making it impossible for Wonchana not to poke them playfully. Then, out of nowhere, Samut remembered something.

"P'Win, I just read the policy that says a procurement officer mustn't have any conflicts of interest with suppliers. I noticed a quotation from my mom's company. Will that be a problem? But I asked someone in the department, and Sardina has never ordered anything from her."

"What's your mom's company called?"

"Ocean Sea Marine Foods... But Mom and I have different last names."

Wonchana's eyes widened. He hadn't thought to ask Samut formally about his family's business before.

"Wow, that's a big company. Kingfish, which makes canned tuna, has long been dealing with Ocean Sea Marine Foods. So, you're the young master of Ocean Sea Marine Foods, huh?"

Wonchana couldn't help but smile as he saw the young master puff his cheeks again.

“Even if you have different last names, it still matters under policy. I wouldn't mind supporting my future boyfriend's company, though. I'll tell your manager to reassign you to procure something else. Don't worry, I won't let anyone criticise you."

Samut flashed another sweet smile at the man in front. He truly felt like he had a hero protecting him. No matter how big or small the problem, Wonchana could handle it all. On top of that, he was being cared for in a way he'd never experienced before.

....No, that isn't entirely true. My mom and brother love and care for me deeply, too. But it isn't the same as what P'Win is doing for him.

...There's a tenderness that made my heart feel all warm and fuzzy.

The food began to arrive, and the atmosphere during the meal was lively and cheerful. Samut, in turn, started to dote on the man beside him, occasionally serving him food. When it came time for dessert, Samut found himself torn between the strawberry waffle and the banana pancake.

"P'Win, do you like strawberries or bananas more?" I can eat anything. Just pick what you want, O."

"I like both. I can't decide. But I'm not ordering two; I won't finish them."

"Then go with the banana pancake," Wonchana decided for him.

After the waiter took the order and left, Samut turned to him, whining playfully, "If I keep hanging out with you, I'm gonna end up rolling around like a panda."

Wonchana laughed. "If you eat and exercise, you won't. Tomorrow, get your workout clothes ready. After work, we're going to the gym. Let's try aerial yoga."

Samut bright, sparkling eyes lit up with excitement. He hadn't been in Bangkok for long, but he'd already experienced so many new and unique things. If he hadn't met this man, his life in the city would've been unbearably dull. So, he didn't hold back his radiant smile anymore. It made Wonchana's heart waver.

...When will we be official?

...when will I  get to hug and kiss him as much as I want?

When the dessert arrived, Samut’s eyes sparkled even more. The thick, three-layered pancakes were stacked neatly and dusted with powdered sugar. Fresh banana slices, cut quite thick, were arranged generously around and on top of the stack.

Walnuts were scattered decoratively, and the whole thing was topped with a large scoop of peanut butter ice cream, drizzled with rich caramel sauce.

"Wow, wow, wow!" Samut exclaimed, snapping pictures of the dish with joy. But after eating about half, his pace began to slow. The dessert's richness was overwhelming, and since Wonchana wasn't a fan of sweets, he couldn't help much. Although Samut loved desserts, he was already full. He started pushing the large banana slices around on his plate.

"This dessert is so delicious, but the portion is huge," he said.

Wonchana smiled at the younger man's words and reassured him, "These desserts are meant to be shared. And it's my fault for not helping much. Don't feel bad about leaving it. If you're full, that's enough. Don't force yourself."

Relieved, Samut set his fork down. Though he felt it was a bit wasteful, the dish couldn't be packed to go.

After paying for the meal, the taller man led Samut on a walk to digest their food. They took pictures at various photo spots set up around the mall. Wonchana made sure not to miss a single selfie opportunity, even asking strangers to take pictures of them at some spots.

Once they'd had their fill of exploring, Wonchana drove Samut back to his condo. He walked the younger man all the way to his room before saying, "I'll pick you up at seven tomorrow morning, same as usual. Do you want a sandwich from the place where we first met? I can call and order them."

"Sure, their sandwiches are delicious," Samut replied.

"Egg and boiled chicken filling, right?"

"Yep, on whole wheat."

"Same as me, but I get mine with tomatoes."

"You can add tomatoes? Then I'll have the same as you, P'Win."

"Will one be enough?"

"It's a big sandwich, so it'll be fine," Samut nodded.

'Drive safely, P'Win. Let me know when you get home."

"Okay. See you tomorrow. Don't forget your workout clothes."

"Got it," Samut replied, but his mind was racing with a mischievous thought. If he flirts, I'll flirt back.

Finally, just as Wonchana was about to leave the room, Samut grabbed his arm. Standing on tiptoes, he planted a quick kiss on the taller man's cheek before flashing a bright, squinty-eyed smile.

"A reward for my soon-to-be boyfriend."
