Billionaire Biker Boy
Chapter 14. Promoting Samut
The large, well-shaped hand scrolling through the smartphone screen paused abruptly upon seeing a Facebook post from a certain someone, showcasing an array of mouthwatering dishes. There were no tags, only the restaurant's location. And when he clicked on the comments...
- Wow, looks so delicious, Ocean! By the way, who's treating you?'
- The person above. Check out our vice president's Facebook, and you'll know the answer.'
- 'Can I ship them yet? I want to be Ocean's mama bear!'
- 'Now I understand how a solo picture can give off couple vibes. This Japanese food is so sweet!'
The elegant hand swiped back to the previous photo, where the vice president's name was tagged. Clicking into Wonchana's profile, he found identical food photos, just taken from a different angle, prominently displayed. The flood of comments from followers all pointed in the same direction.
Sirichok closed the screen and sighed.
“What're you looking at to sigh like that?" asked the slender figure lying naked against his chest, fingers lazily tracing his firm torso before slowly sliding lower.
"Just some work stuff... Honey, aren't you tired yet?"
"Hmm, not yet... but we can save it for tomorrow. You still have work tomorrow, don't you?"
"I'm not free tomorrow. I have to take my mom to the doctor. How about Saturday?"
"Alright, I'll get ready. Do you have enough money?"
"It's enough. I don't have any special expenses right now."
"Good boy. I'll transfer you some extra, and on Saturday, we'll go shopping."
Sirichok leaned down to kiss the cheek of the person in his arms. "You're the sweetest. Get ready to massage your waist on Saturday, okay?"
The slender figure giggled happily as Sirichok got up to get dressed. Once he was ready, he sat on the edge of the bed.
"Here, take a taxi home so you can rest early," Honey (or Mathukorn) said, handing him two purple banknotes.
Sirichok accepted the money and leaned down to kiss those beautiful lips. "Thank you, Honey. See you on Saturday."
As Sirichok descended from the modest condo, he immediately hailed a taxi to his home in Thonburi. Pulling out his phone, he reopened that Facebook post and sank into his thoughts.
Sirichok was the third of four siblings. Both his parents were government employees, placing his family in the middle class. However, with three other siblings, their lifestyle wasn't particularly luxurious. Moreover, the sibling relationships, while not hostile, weren't particularly close either.
When it came time to go to university, perhaps driven by youthful impulsiveness, he chose to study at the southernmost university in the country. There, he met Samut, a small, fair-skinned boy who stood out starkly from the typically tan, sharp-featured male students. A minor accident brought them together when Sirichok stepped in to help. After that, Samut followed him around like a puppy.
They grew close, and Sirichok learned that the boy was the son of the owner of the largest cold-storage business in Hat Yai. Everything seemed to be going well. Sirichok was someone who could love both women and men and didn't mind being in a relationship with a guy. Nonetheless, there were certain traits of Samut’s that he couldn't accept.
Sirichok was easily embarrassed, and he found the small boy overly frugal, even though Samut often treated him to good meals. When they went shopping together, Samut would haggle endlessly, making Sirichok feel ashamed and annoyed. Moreover, Samut wasn't into branded or luxury items and could wear clothes from street markets, unlike Sirichok.
He was so used to branded items, even if they were just mid-tier branded goods. It wasn't as if Sirichok didn't know how Samut felt about him. And considering how much Samut had done for him, he tried to turn a blind eye.
....But with such habits, there was no way they could work out. That's why Samut ended up in the friend zone.
When Sirichok graduated and returned to Bangkok, Samut continued to stay in touch, sending him delicious food deliveries. Sirichok didn't cut ties immediately and even helped submit Samut’s resume and recommended him to HR.
Eventually, Samut got a job at the same company. But when Sirichok learned that Samut’s family had cut off his financial support for living in Bangkok, he couldn't help but feel disappointed. He decided they should go their separate ways, since he was already juggling multiple relationships.
Out of nowhere, Samut became close to that multimillionaire. That vice president guy openly declared himself gay to fend off women trying to approach him. Judging by his Facebook timeline, he'd never publicly acknowledged anyone as a significant other before. But he was doing this with Samut, whom he'd just met. That could only mean one thing: Wonchana wanted to make it clear to everyone.
...He wants to make sure everyone knows this person is his... Seriously?
Suddenly, a surge of possessiveness and regret filled Sirichok's chest.
....I can't let that vice president swoop in and take what's mine.
Sirichok clenched his jaw in thought. The people he was currently seeing could provide him with money and material things, but none of them made him feel as good as Samut did.
...What if I upgrade Samut's status?
...Would things change?
He decided he'd ask over lunch tomorrow. Closing his eyes, Sirichok leaned his head against the taxi seat.
...His thoughts drifted to the plans forming in his mind.
