"O, it's time to sleep. It's late," Wonchana said as he glanced at the clock, noticing it was already past eleven. The tall man closed the novel about wizards he hadn't finished reading and placed it on the bedside table.

"Mmm, five more minutes," the one still engrossed in his iPad replied.

Five minutes passed... and the taller man reminded him again,

"It's been five minutes."

"Just a little longer. P'Win, you can go to sleep. Turn off the lights if you want. I can adjust the screen brightness."

"If you don't sleep now, you won't wake up tomorrow."

"Two more minutes," Samut negotiated, though his concentration had already waned significantly.

"If you don't stop reading, I'll take the deposit," the taller man said, playing his trump card.

Samut shot him a glare but then leaned forward, offering his face for the so-called 'deposit himself.

-Hmph, these days, a deposit is just a trivial thing.

Samut then casually turned back to his reading, while the one who received the deposit felt his heart flutter with a strange, ticklish sensation. Little Chihuahua was getting cheekier by the day. Wonchana leaned in close to whisper in his ear,

"If you aren't sleepy yet, I'll have to do something more."

'Whoosh!' The iPad screen was immediately turned off and placed on the bedside table. The small face, now flushed red, burrowed into the blanket with a muffled voice, "I'm suddenly sleepy."

The tall man's soft laughter echoed as he got up to turn off the lights.

...Not yet. It's not the time. Fruit that isn't ripe yet isn't sweet.

...This must be what they mean by 'Endure the storm to see the rainbow.'
