Another thing I learned from being Sergeant Thiar’s wife is to resist being swayed by sweet words and sweet talk...
Over his 28 years of experience, he had encountered countless highly talented people, such as Police Lieutenant Phuwin and Nong Lukphlab, who ranked number one in the country. However, he had never encountered someone who was more charming, more handsome, and always able to tease and flirt sweetly.
Inspector Thiartha was the first person.
These days, while living together, Mangkorn has to constantly remind himself and pull himself back to his senses. There have been many times when he has spoken without lying or being idealistic. He has begun to lose confidence in himself, afraid that he will one day fall into Inspector Thiar’s trap.
“No way. We wouldn’t fall for that kind of person’s trap.”
“Heh, you’re such a playboy. Falling in love is just a waste of heartache.”
Crack, Crack, Crack.
While Mangkorn was grumbling, the phone screen suddenly flashed with the name of Police Sergeant Lukphlab, or Nong Lukphlab, the wife of Police Inspector Phuwin.
"What's up, Nong Phlab?"
(Brother Mangkorn, I really miss you.)
"If you tell me you miss me like this, will Police Inspector Phu blow my head off?"
(Can you blow my head tonight?)
"Huh? Nong Phlab came to Chiang Mai?" The light brown eyes widened with joy because he also missed his commander and close younger brother quite a bit.
(Yes, Phlab came with Phi Phuwin too.)
“I definitely won’t miss it. See you, Phlab.”
After hanging up, the police sergeant was in a very good mood. At least when he didn't know when he would be transferred back to Chiang Rai, it was better to see someone close.
Today's work wasn't much, just recording various documents into the system. Furthermore, Sergeant Thiartha was out on duty today, so his life was unusually peaceful. But it was too peaceful…
ding ding
It's really hard to die. Just thinking about the message from the person makes me tremble. A notification pops up immediately. My beautiful fingers slide to open it and read it.
"Phu and Nong Phlab have come to Chiang Mai today.
"I know. I have an appointment with Nong Phlab already," Mangkorn typed in response. So meet me at home. Let's go together.
"Yes"
After a few sentences, they understood each other, so the phone owner turned off the screen. But two minutes later, a notification appeared that a picture was being sent from the other party. Thiartha sent a photo.
When I opened it and read it, I immediately had to smile because it was a picture of the police lieutenant's handsome face next to a brown bear on a shelf in a department store. The picture's owner made a funny face to imitate it, along with the message.
“I saw this and thought of you. Hugging me is warmer than hugging a bear, little dragon.”
You idiot! I know I'm being teased, but the first sentence you said, "I miss you," made my heart feel good.
What does it mean to miss?
The clock ticked away until sixteen o'clock, the end of work time. Mangkorn rode his motorcycle back to the Phiromsamorn Mansion. Before entering the house, he stopped to greet the uncles and aunts who took care of the garden and hurried up to the bedroom that he was beginning to get used to. But in his haste, he forgot to knock and opened the door without permission. However, in that second, his large, round eyes widened at the sight in front of him.
The police officer was wearing only a pair of underwear and standing in the middle of the room.
"Sir, Inspector!"
Oh my god! The sweet face quickly turned away and turned his back on him. His heart beat wildly and weakly in the blink of an eye. Had this perverted, evil person forgotten that he wasn't alone? But he also forgot that he hadn't knocked on the door either.
“Why are you turning around? Don’t you want to see the royal property?”
“Don’t be shy. I’m not stiff like you.”
Hey, you're looking down on me too much!
The pride that was holding him back was greater, so the petite person hurriedly turned around and came back. He found that the person who had spoken earlier was standing nearby, allowing the light-coloured eyes to examine him fully.
"Sergeant, even though my boobs aren't big, my balls are cute."
The dragon fought back.
"Golden dragon or little dragon?"
"Torpedo Dragon."
Thiartha immediately burst out laughing at that sentence and used his sapphire eyes to look down at the boasted dragon owner. However, it was probably smaller than his own.
"Sergeant! You pervert!"
“Go get dressed.”
“I just want to get to know the little dragon.”
"If the sergeant doesn't stop, I'll really punch him."
"Okay, okay, you're really fierce, wife." Again! They still tease each other.
The meeting place for the four guys that night was a chill-out bar in the Nimmanhaemin area, but by the time the fake couple arrived at the place, it was late. After almost ten minutes, the cause was that Thiartha's annoyance made the dragon lose his mind, and they nearly got into a real fight.
The atmosphere in the bar is dim, with soft live music and the chatter of people. The reserved area is an outdoor area where the wind blows through. Hands were ready to send a sound. When the two of them walked into the shop, they saw a familiar person waving.
"Brother Mangkorn, Inspector Thiar, this way."
"Nong Phlap"
The happiest person was the dragon. He quickly walked straight to the table on the far left and immediately hugged the young police sergeant he missed so much.
"I really miss you, Nong Phlab."
"Phlab misses you too. Phi Phu too."
The dragon grinned widely and moved his round eyes to look at his close commander. Although Phuwin had a serious expression, the young police lieutenant was hiding his feelings. After working together for many years, it was not strange that he was concerned about his subordinate.
"Inspector Phu must be missing me, too."
“You really are a dragon.”
Because of their intimacy, the white hand playfully grabbed Phuwin's arm, but it caught the sharp gaze of someone standing behind him.
“No one seems to notice me.”
"Inspector Thiar, please sit down."
And so, a long-overdue conversation began. The initial discussion was about general well-being, followed by the case they were working on. The food was served with alcoholic beverages, but, as usual, the plump Sergeant chose bubble tea, leaving the senior guys to drink less of the intoxicants.
"I heard someone has taken over the Ronapop case," Phuwin said, sipping his drink.
“Yes, I have other things to do.”
“You’re really hot, huh?”
"You're so hot, do you have a girlfriend yet, Inspector Thiar?"
The persimmon, who had been listening intently, joined the conversation with a casual teasing question, and his sapphire eyes briefly met the person beside him before answering in a joking tone.
"No one would be interested in a police officer like me, Nong Phlab."
The dragon pouted at the deceptive answer. Huh? How could he say that? And what about the countless women in the stockpile?
“Is this an answer to trick the child, Inspector Thiar?”
"Hmm, why doesn't the dragon believe me? You've been with me all along, so you know it all." Thiartha tilted his head to answer the person next to him with a playful tone.
"If there's no one like the police lieutenant, then let me become a monk," Mangkorn replied immediately.
“Are you planning to ordain me? If you tell me the truth, I won’t believe you.”
“Anyone who believes that is crazy.”
An argument broke out between the two. None of this would have happened if Inspector Pan Leh hadn't been so flirtatious and rambling that he could hardly stand it. Finally, Mangkorn asked for calm.
“He’s gone,” someone muttered and looked after him.
As the bullied person walked away, he was immediately met with two pairs of eyes, looking at him with accusations. Phuwin shook his head and went with his good friend. He was 34 years old, but he liked bullying others.
"Inspector Thiar, you must have made Brother Mangkorn angry."
“I’m not angry. We tease each other quite a bit.”
"Hmm, don't bully that kid too much," Phuwin scolded again.
"Why? I'm teasing you because I like you." I really do like you.
“I want to tease you.”
The conversation flowed steadily, but the person who had asked to go to the restroom had not yet returned. People started fidgeting, but when they looked around with sharp eyes, they saw a dragon in the distance, standing and talking to a woman.
Thiartha was staring at him without blinking, causing his close friend to wonder and ask.
“What are you staring at?” Or is the woman who came to talk to the dragon also one of its children?
“No, I was just looking.” He answered the question with his mouth, but his eyes didn’t move back at all.
The woman walked away, but before the police sergeant could return to the table, a handsome man walked in and interrupted, as if he were having a good conversation.
Why don't you stand closer? I can't hear you.
Thiartha was cursing inwardly as something was brewing inside. The two of them were standing there talking happily. His wife's laughter and his sweet smile were heard.
And what are you smiling about like that?
Irritability shot through his mind, followed by heat rising from his head. He tried to look at the scene calmly, licking inside his cheeks with his tongue to prevent them from getting worse, but what Thiartha was feeling was reflected in Phuwin and Lukphlap's eyes.
The husband and wife looked at each other with understanding, as if they were asking questions deep down in their hearts.
"You, Thiar..."
"I'll be right back, Phu."
I can't stand it anymore when I see that young man leaning in to talk to the dragon nearby. The long legs automatically stepped out, and with just a few short steps, he was able to squeeze in between them.
"Is something wrong?" Thiartha asked, as if he was trying to clear up the situation.
"Oh, nothing. We were just chatting," the Chinese-looking young man replied before continuing, "Can I have your number, Mangkorn?"
Don't you know that his husband is standing right here with his head held high?
Suddenly, the young police officer wanted to claim the marriage certificate. Just then, his calm face suddenly turned completely serious. His sapphire eyes looked at the stranger unfriendly, and he thought to himself, "Why didn't he let the dragon wear the ring?"
You will know that you are married.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think that's possible." Thiar's tone was calm, but it was laced with dissatisfaction.
Hurry!
The white arm was grabbed and dragged back to the table, but a loud exclamation came from the person who was suddenly dragged out.
“Let go, Inspector. What are you doing?”
“I’m just helping you. I can see that you’re feeling uncomfortable because of that guy.”
"I'm not uncomfortable. We're just talking. It's rude to come out like this." What's with the police officer?
“Do you like him?”
The deep voice rose another level, but the dragon himself would not give in. A second argument ensued. Persimmon tried to intervene, but it seemed to be to no avail. In the end, this time it was Thiar who walked away.
What the hell is wrong with me?
