The beautiful eyelashes slowly opened. What appeared to his eyes was darkness all around. The person who had just woken up from the anaesthesia was still confused and dazed. He had no idea where he was. There was only the musty smell that wafted into his nose, mixed with the cold air that surrounded him.

When he looked up, he saw only a dim neon light above his head, dim enough to feel like it was going out. Now, a heavy feeling ran through his body. The police sergeant tried to move his arms, but he found that both his wrists were bound with thick rope.

“Where is this place...”

“Is anyone there?” and received silence in return.

But not long after, a creaking sound, similar to the sound of shoes, of a person in uniform slowly approaching until the dragon felt it at close range, even though he could not see from behind, but because I had trained with a large group of police and military personnel, how could I not recognise the sound of these shoes?

"Hey, little brat! Are you awake?" The cold, unfamiliar voice greeted me, and I knew it right away!

“Senior!”

The person whose name was called did not hesitate to move his tall, strong body to stand in front of him. Now, his once-gentle face was filled with an unusually haunting smile.

“Why did you bring me here, senior?”

"Where's the smart one? Let's guess."

“What exactly do you want, senior?”

Damn that rope!

As he spoke, the little person struggled with all his might to loosen the rope around his wrist, but to no avail. He stopped working and regained his composure.

“Don’t struggle. There’s only you and me here.”

“Senior isn’t that kind of person.” Not at all.

“Hmm, what kind of person do you think I am?”

The sentence ended with a stern tone. However, the Lampang police sergeant bent down to bring his face level with his junior's before giving him a terrifying smile. The round face tried to turn away, just seeing it in the distance.

When he got close, his whole body almost got goosebumps. This person was not the kind of senior he knew. His expression and eyes were like those of a completely different person.

“Look, you're all sweating.”

“Come, let me wipe it for you.”

After he finished speaking, his rough thumb slowly lifted and caressed the delicate face as if he was taking advantage of it. Furthermore, the demon himself did not pay any attention to the dragon's expression, which showed the slightest bit of disgust towards him.

The warm touch of his fingertips caressing the corner of my eyebrows and lips didn't make me feel good. There was only a feeling of disgust that I wanted to give.

“Huh? Do you hate me or something? Why, if it’s not Thiar, can’t I touch you at all?!”

"Senior, please be mindful."

“Consciousness?”

“How much do you  want me to be mindful, Dragon?”

This time, a cold voice shouted. Saming's face flushed with anger. Seeing his younger brother's shocked expression, he grinned widely before standing up to his full height, taking a gun from his pocket and knocking it against his head like a criminal contemplating a crime.

Let's…" "Senior, I think we shouldn't make this a bigger deal than it already is.

Before his persuasive words could finish, the gun barrel that had been tapping against the demon's head had moved, pointing directly at the dragon's temple.

"Don't talk like that, Dragon. It's annoying.

“Why did you choose him, Dragon? What’s wrong with you?!”

"How is it better than me?!"

The angrier the sentence, the more likely it is to be accompanied by a shout. The dragon shrinks his neck and runs away in fear. Even though he has encountered many types of criminals, he has not encountered any who are also police officers. Moreover, it is currently Police Lieutenant Saming.

He barely understood anything until now. He only knew that his senior liked him, but what was the exact purpose of capturing him this time?

"I like dragon!" Saming kept saying "I like you" again.

"Do you like this?"

“Do people who like each other do this?”

What the hell is going on? He almost swore at this. Where did this all start? If you've said you liked me for a long time, then why are you only telling me now?

"I like dragon. How many times have I tried to approach you and help you? But in the end, the dragon only looks at him." It's Thiar.

At this moment, the tip of the gun barrel moved closer to his forehead, making it so round that there was no way to escape.

“Why isn’t it Big Brother Dragon? Why?!”

“Why do you always choose him? Why do you always have to do it?”

Saming was spouting out his feelings and words, and he couldn't help but smile, mocking himself a little. Why did he hate Thiar so much? It was just one incident among many, but that day was the day he remembered so well.

I can hardly remember...

The whistling wind blew past the top of the high jumping tower, and the sound of water hitting the shore could be heard from the large pool below. The dragon stood on the edge of the jumping tower with trembling legs, his eyes staring at the zipline that stretched across the water to the other side. Part of his heart wanted to jump, but fear held him back.

"Are you going to stand like a pillar all day?!" The voice of Thiartha, in the position of Captain, rang out, along with a hand slapping the shoulder of the police officer, making him almost stagger.

"I think... It's a bit too high."

"You're going to be a police officer, and you're afraid of heights? If you're so afraid, go down. Don't waste your time training!"

"Thiar! Calm down. He just started it," said Saming, who had just walked in. His face showed displeasure as well.

"Don't you dare interfere. If he’s this scared, he shouldn't be here.

The dragon clenched his fists tightly. He had a lot of fear, but he wanted to overcome it. When his round eyes met the eyes of the cheerleader, those eyes were filled with challenge and expectation.

"I'm going to jump," the dragon said loudly.

“Are you sure?”

Saming asked as he checked the safety equipment again, squinting at the sling that stretched from the top of the tower to the other side. Its weight seemed unbalanced as usual. Something was clearly wrong. The rope was sagging lower than it should have been.

“Hey! This rope is weird. It seems like it's coming loose.”

His right hand pointed at the rope that was swaying slightly in the wind, causing the trainee police officer standing on the jumping platform to stop immediately. His light brown eyes turned toward that direction, but before he could answer, Thiar interrupted.

“It’s just a well, Saming. Why are you so afraid? If you fall in, you’ll just get wet.”

A soft chuckle erupted. He wasn't unconcerned about safety, but in a real-world situation, there was barely any time to investigate these matters. Therefore, being a police officer meant knowing how to survive.

The people standing there listening secretly swallowed their saliva again. Fear surged up and bit their hearts. They started to feel cold sweat forming on their palms. But at the same time, Thiartha's voice sounded like a deliberate challenge.

“Do you dare to jump?” Do not dare?

The dragon took a deep breath. If he was still afraid, then when would he dare? Finally, his round eyes turned back to the sling before slowly nodding in agreement.

"Yes, I dare to jump."

“It has to be like this.”

“I’ll be waiting for you downstairs.”

The large, round eyes looked up and met the indigo ones again. The calm in the other person's eyes seemed to radiate a confidence he had never had before, and it could be read as "I trust you."

"yes"

The young captain quickly jumped out of the tower and jumped to the other side. If the new police officer and Saming were still there, Saming could only sigh as he checked all the safety equipment that Mangkorn was wearing. With careful thought, he glanced at the face that still contained a bit of hesitation.

"Are we sure we want to jump?" Saming asked in a soft voice, but filled with concern.

“I'm sure.”

When he made up his mind, he couldn't help but feel proud that the younger generation he had personally nurtured and moulded was trying to overcome their fear.

After standing there for a long time, the dragon slowly climbed back up onto the jumping platform. The excitement rushed through him, his heart beating so fast it felt like it was going to jump out of his chest.

His slender hands gripped the rope so tightly that his knuckles turned white. Fear appeared in his mind, but in that instant, he suddenly remembered Captain Thiartha's gaze...a gaze that seemed to tell him he could do it.

"You can do it..." A clear voice muttered to himself before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath.

Okay, let's jump. One, two, three, counted in my mind before the small body shot through the air at high speed.

The sound of the wind howling around, both hands tightly gripping the sling, the thrill of the height and speed made His breath catch in his throat, but the dragon managed to regain his senses until halfway through.

As his body slid down the sling, he suddenly felt a vibration. The rope began to sway unsteadily. His large eyes widened, and a chill ran up his spine.

Damn, it's like the rope is coming loose.

The dragon turned to look at the jumping tower behind him. The sight almost made his heart stop. Saming and the other police officers looked confused, with panicked expressions, as if something was really going wrong.

Will he die?

A shout of fear rose in his mind at the same time. His gaze began to shift back to the other side of the destination, where Thiartha was standing, waiting. The young captain's strong arms were wide open, his indigo eyes staring at the dragon without wavering.

“You trust me,” a deep voice shouted.

Whatever happens. The dragon gritted his teeth before turning back to head towards his target, moving his body towards the destination. And the second he almost hit the ground, the sling swung violently again as if it would break free from its hold, but the dragon did not stop. Suddenly, the strong arms of the young captain wrapped around him. Both bodies were thrown to the ground with an impact, causing a loud noise to ring in the trainee's ears as he fell.

"Will it hurt?" The little person asked in a trembling voice as he tried to push himself up, but was held back from moving, accompanied by a soft laugh.

"You're heavy, Dragon."

"Heh, Captain. Someone's worried."

“Then let me hug you a little longer.”

His sharp face was covered with a smile, still hugging the little person, not letting go. The dragon himself felt an indescribable sense of relief and said his thanks.

“Thank you, Captain.”

"See? You can do it."

Neither of them cared about anyone else's gaze, forgetting that there was someone else on the other side…

On the high jump tower, Saming still held onto the rope tightly. His breathing was laboured, and both his wrists were covered in red marks from the force with which he had held the thick rope. However, the low-ranking police officer standing beside him looked at Saming with admiration.

"Captain, you were so cool just now!" The young policeman's excited voice rang out. Saming turned to look at him blankly before releasing the rope and replying in a calm voice.

“So what…”

He didn't hug the dragon anyway.

The young captain's face didn't have the same smile as Thiartha's, and his sharp gaze was filled with more than just humiliation and sadness. The image of the two of them hugging and laughing still reverberated in his mind. Even though he was the one who helped so much, he didn't get a second glance. Suddenly, a feeling arose, causing the man's fists to tighten and turn bright red...

The Lampang police lieutenant's eyes shone brightly as he remembered the past. His emotions were boiling with rage as he held the gun in his hand against the dragon's forehead.

"You married him because you liked him, right?" Saming asked, his voice harsh, filled with pain that had turned into anger.

"Senior... please calm down." Even the owner of the voice couldn't control the trembling in his voice.

“Calm down, huh?”

However, the situation at hand was under the watchful eye of someone who had been secretly watching all along. “Thiatha” had been hiding behind the wooden crate from the beginning. He had heard every word the lion said and never thought that he would dare to do such a thing.

But before he could think of a way out, two burly men suddenly appeared from a dark corner and charged at him. Thiartha's body fell, and they caught him.

Saming: "Boss, we've caught him!" shouted one of his subordinates.

Saming turned around.

"Thiar... I knew you'd follow me. Bring him here."

"Sir, Inspector!"

As soon as the dragon realised who it was, he shouted in shock, “Why is the sergeant here? Why?”

"A smart person like you, I knew you'd come." He tricked him from the beginning. A smart person like him would be smart, but he lured him out alone and took him away.

“What are you going to do, dragon?”

Thiartha did not struggle against the arrest, his sapphire eyes staring at his wife, who was tied up and unable to move.

“If it weren’t for him, would the dragon love me?”

“Senpai…”

"Do you really think that if you do this, the dragon will love you?" Thiar took this opportunity to speak in a calm tone, even though his body was being held down.

Those words were like a spark. Saming turned to look at his classmate with a furious gaze. His thick lips twitched slightly as if he was trying to say something, but he was silent in the end.

The dragon looked back and forth between Thiartha and Saming. His heart was beating fast, and he felt pressured. He didn't know what to do right now.

"People like you will die by my hand." People like him who have always lost. "If it weren't for you, there would only be me, the dragon!"
