Goddess Bless You From Death

Case File 48.

Thup opened his eyes again, feeling pain all over his body. The sunlight had faded into darkness. He sat up, looking at his condition, and sighed heavily. The ring he had saved for months to buy was gone-the gift for his big brother was no more. It would take months of saving money to buy a new one. But if he kept dwelling on it, it would only make Singha worry too.

"Sigh!" Thup sat dejectedly on the edge of the bed, took a deep breath, and smiled to dispel the gloom in his heart.

The young man tried to support himself down the stairs to find his elder brother, but the downstairs was empty. His spirits sank even lower, thinking he had made his big brother angry.

The sound of the door opening caught Thup's attention. When he saw Singha coming in with many bags in hand, his previously sorrowful heart lightened up again

"Why are you coming down?"

"Where did you go?"

"To buy food. With our chef down like this, what are we going to eat?" Singha placed an abundance of food on the dining table, far more than enough for one meal. He reached out to gently stroke Thup's cheek before pushing him to sit down.

"I can make something simple."

"Just eat," Singha kissed the soft hair before walking to sit opposite him.

The young inspector watched the boy in front of him take out the food one by one, complaining in his usual manner. Recently, Thup had spent his time drawing both day and night without rest. Singha thought Thup was just bored with staying home all the time, not realising he was trying to save money for something else.

"Shall we eat now? I've been sleeping for so long. Are you hungry yet?"

"Yeah, sit here. I'll get the plates myself."

After their simple dinner, Thup moved to the living room to open his laptop and prepare to work again. He had resolved to work more to save money faster. But before he could even get to the page, his screen was closed by the person who had just finished washing the dishes.

"Let's talk."

"O-Okay," Thup was scared by his big brother's serious demeanour, thinking that what he had done earlier had indeed made him angry.

Singha sat on the guest chair and held Thup's hand. He knew the boy in front of him wouldn't talk about the ring, work, or money, so he wouldn't press him about it either.

"Do your wounds hurt?"

"Not too much now, just a little sore."

"That's good."

"P'Singh.. are you mad at me? Are you mad because of my behaviour?"

"I'm not mad."

"I didn't mean to ignore you, really. I didn't mean to misbehave. Sob!"

"Thup, listen," Singha reached out to gently cup the young man's face, his beautiful, tear-filled eyes. The fear and anxiety were evident. The incident with the ring and the car accident must have scared Thup quite a bit. He needed comforting before any further conversation.

"P'Singh, sob, Thup is really sorry."

"No, I'm not mad. But I'm worried." Thup sobbed softly and looked up at his big brother. "Rest until you recover. There's no need to rush if you're not ready. Whatever you plan to do, I can wait."

"Sob, really?"

"Yeah, don't pressure yourself. You're not misbehaving. You're still the same good kid. No matter what, I still love you the same, understand?"

Thup's heart skipped a beat before it started pounding like a drum. His slender hand reached up to hold his elder brother's hand that was cupping his face.

"You love me?"

"Of course! Haven't I ever told you?" Singha's usual tone returned quickly when he felt things weren't going as he wanted. Thup laughed lightly and leaned into the rough but warm hand.

"Never, sob, you've never told me."

Singha pressed his lips together. Reflecting, he realised he had always heard Thup express his feelings, but he never responded. Not once. No wonder the boy in front of him felt insecure in their relationship.

"Listen, you little pup. Even if you're a crybaby, stubborn, or have something stranger than seeing ghosts, I still love you, got it? I'm not letting you go just because you're sulking for a few moments. I'm thirty-five already, you know. It's hard to find a young lover."

Thup threw himself into Singha's arms after he finished speaking. The tears rolled down the broad shoulders and dried completely. All his worries were healed as well.

"Stop crying already. Otherwise, you'll have swollen eyes for tomorrow's merit-making." Singha gently patted his wide back before kissing the temple of the boy in his arms several times. "Shall we go to bed?"

"Yeah, I'll cuddle with you all night."

After showering and changing into their pyjamas, the bed was now occupied by two people cuddling under a large blanket.

"Thup, don't be naughty," Singha warned when the boy, snuggling into his chest, started kissing his bare chest.

"Are you working tomorrow?" Thup looked up at his elder brother with sparkling eyes.

"No."

"Really?"

"Maybe I'm lying."

"If you have very urgent work, like really urgent, you can go. Thup will be fine."

"I took a day off to take care of my little pup." Singha gently patted Thup's back before slowly closing his eyes. When Thup felt his big brother's steady breathing, he slowly closed his eyes. The last murmured words brought a small smile to Singha's face.

"Your little pup has ruined everything."

At dawn the next day. Thup woke up because the warmth from the previous night had dissipated. His pearly eyelids opened, revealing brown eyes playing with the sunlight streaming through the gaps in the curtains.

Thup slowly pushed himself up before trying to get out of bed. His wounds started acting up this morning, aching and sore, making Thup groan softly. The young man walked to the door with difficulty. When he got downstairs, he found three people arguing in the kitchen.

"Singh, you didn't buy enough stuff," Darin said as she arranged food into bags.

"That's all there was."

"Clearly, you don't often go to the temple to make merit," Sei said before picking up a peeled mango and eating it.

"Sei, that's for the monks!!" Darin hit Sei's hand hard, followed by a loud protest.

"P'Singh," the voice from the stairs ended the small quarrel.

"P'Sei, P'Rin, good morning."

"Still walking? You're exaggerating, Singh."

"Oh, my little Thup, are you hurt much? Look at all those scrapes," Darin walked over to comfort Thup.

"I'm fine now. But what are you guys doing here so early?"

"Just being nosy," Singha answered for him before stepping in to fix Thup's hair.

"I'm here to visit you, and I saw you were going to make merit in the morning, so I came to help. Besides, Singh looks more like he's going to rob a temple than make merit," Darin said, sticking out her tongue at Singh, who was standing on the other side of Thup.

"Thank you, everyone."

"Happy birthday, Thup. May your twenty-sixth year be filled with happiness," Darin wished as she handed over a white gift box.

"Thank you, P'Darin."

"Open it! Please open it!"

Singha helped Thup sit on the sofa before letting him chat with Darin while Singha loaded the offerings into the car. The gift box was filled with amulets from both local and international sources. Some of them Thup didn't even recognise.

"This is from me," Sei said, handing Thup a large bag before returning to his seat.

"Thank you, P'Sei." Thup carefully opened the bag, unsure of its contents. His face turned red when he saw what was inside. The bag was packed with various types of condoms. Sei raised an eyebrow at him before turning to look at someone who had just walked in.

"What are you looking at?" Singha asked his youthful boyfriend.

"N-Nothing," Thup quickly hid everything behind him.

"Go take a shower and change. We're going to the temple."

"Okay, I'll be right back," Thup said, gathering his gifts and limping upstairs.

"What did you give him to make him blush like that?"

"Something necessary."

"Like what?"

"You'll find out soon enough. By the way, have you found what you asked the staff to look for?"

"Not yet."

"What if you can't find it?"

"I'll buy a new one."

"Singha is really sweet, isn't he, Sei? His young boyfriend dropped a ring down a drain, and instead of just buying a new one, he hired someone to retrieve it because he was worried his baby would be upset," Darin said, hugging Singha's neck and teasing him about the previous night's events. They had received a call in the middle of the night from their friend, who said there was an emergency, only to find out he wanted help finding a ring. Ha!

"So, where are we going after making merit? I've already booked a restaurant."

"You guys go ahead. Thup's condition isn't ideal for going out. I'll probably take him back home."

"I want to party," Darin said, leaning against Singha's muscular arm in boredom. She had to return to the station, where she would be consumed by boredom.

"Wait until he's better."

After waiting for a while, as Thup had to be careful with his hand and leg injuries, the four of them finally arrived at the temple, located not far from home, around eleven in the morning. Singha supported Thup through all the merit-making activities, praying, releasing fish, and other birthday rituals. They then went to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

"Have you taken your medicine?"

"Yes, I have."

"Do you want to go anywhere else?"

"Usually, on my birthday, I just make merit and then go back to my room to work, so I don't really know what to do next. Are you all bored?"

"Oh, Thup, my dear, it's your birthday, and you have Lord Singh with you. Do whatever you want, sweetheart. He won't mind, really. Take advantage of him," Darin said, leaning her head on Thup's shoulder and rubbing it, making everyone at the table laugh.

"Thank you, everyone, for being with me today. I've received so many birthday wishes."

"Singh, grab me a tissue. I'm going to cry. My child's life has been so hard and lonely."

"Alright, Rin, go back to work. "Let them be together," Sei said, rising from the table and grabbing Darin by the collar. "Happy birthday, Thup."

"Singh, take good care of my child!" Darin shouted as Sei dragged her away, covering her mouth with his hand.

Singha watched Thup's bright and cheerful face, feeling content. All the plans for today had fallen apart, from the outing to the fancy rooftop restaurant. But Singha didn't mind. The goal was to see the smile on the face of the young man in front of him, and he had seen it.

They returned home in the afternoon. Thup sank onto the sofa, exhausted by the exertion from his injuries. The coolness against his cheek made him open his eyes.

"Do you want to go sleep upstairs?"

"No, I'm fine here. I want to be with you."

"I have to go out for a bit."

Thup immediately looked sad upon hearing Singha would be going out today.

"I'll be back soon, just going to get something."

"Okay." Singha kissed Thup's forehead before grabbing his motorcycle keys.

"Take a shower and rest. I know you're tired."

"When will you be back?"

"Not long."

Thup watched Singha's back until he was out of sight. The young man sighed softly, thinking he would get to spend the whole day with Singha. He pushed himself up again, holding onto the railing as he made his way upstairs to take a shower, washing away the stickiness and heat from his body. Once he was done, Thup walked to the room across the hall. He opened the door to the room where important items were stored and sat down on the sofa Singha had bought for him.

Beautiful eyes gazed at the framed picture in the cabinet. It was a painting of his mother, drawn from memory and past glimpses. Thup had spent over a month on this painting before it found its place in the frame. It was the only thing he had to remember her by.

"Mom, today is my birthday. Your son is now twenty-six. I have a job I like. Even though it doesn't pay much, it's enough to live comfortably. Oh, P'Sing takes really good care of me. I can't imagine my life without him. You know, I used to hate my birthday because it reminded me that I never had the chance to thank the person who brought me into this world. But now, I don't think like that anymore." Thup smiled as he looked at his painting. The fear and loneliness in his eyes were gone, replaced by longing and gratitude. "Thank you, Mom, for giving me the chance to see this world. I love you."

Thup spent over an hour recounting his stories until he fell asleep. His birthdays had always been like any other day: uneventful, uninteresting, and spent alone. He'd wake up early, make merit, return to his room to paint, eat a convenience store cake, and go to bed early, wishing the day would pass quickly. That was how it had been for twenty-five years. Except for this year...

Singha returned home around seven in the evening. What he thought would be a short errand turned into a race across Bangkok to get what he needed. The dark house made his brows furrow. Thup always left the lights on, no matter how late it was.

"Thup, where are you?" Singha put everything on the table and turned on the lights. "Did he fall asleep?"

He went to the bedroom to find his lover, but found it empty. His heart raced until he opened another door and saw Thup curled up on the sofa. He must have been talking to his mom again. Singha crouched in front of him and gently woke him.

"Thup, hey Thup!"

"Mmm."

"If you're going to sleep, do it properly. You'll hurt your wounds."

"When did you get back? I didn't hear you"

"Just now. Are you hungry? Or do you want to sleep?"

"Before my birthday ends, can we have a meal together and maybe watch a movie? I want to spend today with you." Thup's sleepy eyes made Singha smile, and he gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"I have something better than a meal. Get up."

"Where are we going?"

"To spend time together." Singha led Thup to his rarely used sports car. "Wait in the car. I need to get something"

Thup, confused but compliant, sat in the car. Shortly after, Singha returned with a large bouquet of white lilies and a large bag.

"Here," Singha handed him the flowers and put the bag in the back seat.

"What's this?" Thup hugged the bouquet, smiling widely.

"You've ruined my plans too many times. This time, I'm just going to do it."

Thup tilted his head, not understanding. Singha drove them on a route Thup didn't recognise.

"Where are we going?"

"We're not staying home for your birthday this year. No more being cooped up."

After about two hours, they arrived at a luxurious hotel in Khao Yai. The night sky was filled with stars, the cool air, and the serene sounds of nature. Singha checked in and returned to the car. Thup, sitting next to him, bit his lips. He felt the mix of excitement, happiness, and confusion.

It was another journey into the unknown, the winding road making Thup glance at Singha's profile with sparkling eyes. Before long, the car, which had been moving steadily, stopped in the darkness.

"P'Singh... I have no idea what we're doing."

"Celebrating your birthday," Singha said, getting out of the car and grabbing their things. He helped Thup through the tall grass.

In front of Thup was a large tent with two folding chairs and a matching table set. But that wasn't what made his eyes sparkle. It was the view of the mountains, layered and complex, under the vast sky, with thousands of stars scattered across it.

"We're staying here tonight. I arranged it with the hotel."

"P'Singh.."

"At first, I was going to take you out for dinner, but then you hurt your leg. I saw you feeling down about your birthday, so let me expand your perspective," Singha said as he sat down on the mat he had just laid out. Luckily, the wind wasn't too strong tonight, making it easier to set up the equipment. "Come sit here."

[Khao Yai is a renowned national park in Thailand, known for its diverse wildlife, lush forests, and scenic landscapes, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and eco-tourists.]

Thup smiled and limped over to sit next to him. It was a bit challenging, but his heart was racing with excitement. He placed the fragrant lilies beside him and hugged Singha tightly.

"You like it, don't you?"

"Yes, very much. This is the best birthday ever."

"Happy birthday, Thup. May your increasing age bring you more happiness. I can't change the past or be there for your previous birthdays or bad days, but I'll be here for you now and in the future, as long as you want me to be."

"I don't need anything from you, P'Singh. All I need is you."

"How about blowing out some candles and making a wish?"

"Do we have a cake?"

"Who do you think I am?" Singha pulled a large cake out of the bag. He lit the candles and held them out to Thup with a wink. "Go ahead."

"I love you, P'Singh. I really do."

"Is that your wish?"

"That's all I want." Thup gently stroked Singha's cheek before blowing out the candles.

"That's pretty modest."

"Can I kiss you now?"

"Not yet." Singha took out a small black velvet box from his pocket and handed it to Thup. "I couldn't find your old one. Use this instead"

Thup tilted his head slightly before taking the box and opening it. The sight of two plain silver rings inside made his eyes widen in surprise. They looked exactly like the ones he had lost!

"Do you know how hard it was for me to find out which shop you bought these from?" Before he could finish his sentence, the young man leapt at his older boyfriend, forgetting the pain in his foot. They both fell onto the mat, their lips pressing together tightly, leaving no space between them. Thup gently kissed the big brother's lips to get him to open up. When everything went as planned, the young man slipped his tongue inside to savour the sweetness, sweeping it everywhere with expert skill.

A gentle breeze blew past them as if in celebration. The fragrant smell of flowers in the air made the night even more special. Singha gazed at the young man's face above him without looking away. He couldn't tell if the stars or Thup's eyes were more beautiful at that moment.

"Live a happy life. That's all I ask," Singha said, raising his hand to caress the younger's cheek.

"All of my happiness is you."

"Same here." Thup leaned his face into Singha's hand before taking out one of the rings.

"Thank you for everything you've done for me. Really, thank you for everything."

"I can't wear it because of my duty. It might get lost. Wear this necklace instead," Singha said, handing Thup a silver necklace. The young man nodded understandingly before threading the necklace through the ring and putting it around Singha's neck.

Singha watched Thup's every action, biting his lip. He had never done anything like this in his life, nor had anyone ever done this for him. No wonder his normally indifferent heart was now racing. He took the ring from the box and slid it onto Thup's ring finger, kissing the knuckle before looking up to meet his eyes.

"We've had the blessing, blown out the candles, and received the gift. There's one more thing you might want."

"What is it?" Thup asked, not stopping his kisses on Singha's neck. He couldn't help but smile as he saw the necklace and ring on Singha's neck.

"Another gift."

Inside the large tent, which was big enough for two men to sleep comfortably, Singha pushed Thup down to sit on his lap and began undressing himself until he was completely naked, leaving only his bare, tanned skin behind. The young man was already undressed by Singha earlier.

"P''Singh," Thup's heart was racing faster than when he jumped off a cliff because Singha was now stroking his member with his warm hand. "Ugh, P'Singh, this is...ah, someone might come."

"Just focus on me," Thup lifted his face to receive the kiss Singha gave him. Their lips sucked and tugged at each other, insatiable. Once Singha was sure that Thup's hardening part in his hand was ready, he knelt before lowering himself onto it.

Rushing out of the house meant they didn't have any lube or condoms. Singha gritted his teeth at the pain and tightness, while Thup was on the verge of losing it just from seeing Singha ride him.

"P'Singh, ugh, you're going to get hurt." Thup looked up at Singha with concern, his slender hands gripping Singha's waist tightly.

"It's okay." Singha leaned on Thup's shoulder, holding his neck tightly. His back passage slowly descended, swallowing the erect member bit by bit. The gasping sounds in his ear made Singha realise that Thup was barely holding on. "Good boy. Ah, if you cum, it'll be easier."

Just like that, Thup's body jerked, warmth spreading in the tight passage. The wetness made it easier for Thup's member to slide almost fully inside.

"P'Singh."

"Do you want your gift?"

Thup looked into Singha's sparkling eyes, his face blushing. Then he decided to grab Singha's waist and push him down until his dick was fully inside. Singha's eyes widened in surprise, as this time he was the one on top, hitting his sensitive spot directly, making his entire body go numb.

"I will devour my gift properly," the young pup, now twenty-six, transformed from a puppy into a proud wolf.

Thup used his hands to spread Singha's tanned buttocks and bit down on his nipple to please him. Singha, whose mind was almost blank from the pleasure, dug his nails into Thup's back, leaving long scratches.

He began moving his hips up and down in rhythm with his rising emotions. The sound of skin slapping against skin, mixed with their passionate kisses. Each time Singha lowered himself, Thup's member would strike his tender spot, causing him to moan involuntarily.

"Aaahhh! Right there, Thup! Ah, harder, good boy."

"You like it, don't you? Ugh, you like it deep, right?" Thup pressed Singha's waist to take his member fully. His soft lips kissed and nibbled all over Singha's neck and chest, trying to please him.

"Yes, mmm, just like that. So damn aahhhh good." Singha's body was flipped onto the black sheet, and his lust-filled eyes watched his lover casually toss his brown hair back. His body was covered in love bites and nail marks left by Thup. Singha was driven insane by the sight of Thup's member protruding in and out, and his feet pressing against Thup's chest.

"You're the best, P'Singh." Thup panted, his hips slamming into Singha's round butt while kissing his big brother's feet without hesitation.

"Thup, ah, I'm going to cum."

"Together with me." Singha nodded quickly, not even understanding what Thup, who was thrusting into him, was saying.

Thup lifted Singha's hips to be parallel to his dick, thrusting in and out rapidly without pausing. The bedsheet was crumpled under Singha's grip, but they didn't care. The tight passage clamped down, signalling that they were close to the edge.

"Ugh! P'Singh!"

"Ahhhh!" The white fluid splattered all over their stomachs, and Singha's passage began to leak Thup's cum.

Their heavy breathing was the only sound in the tent. Before they could recover from the first round, Singha was flipped onto his stomach, with Thup mounting him from behind.

"Aren't you taking a break?" Singha asked in a hoarse voice.

"If it's past midnight, can I still get my gift?"

Singha laughed softly before turning to kiss the mischievous puppy, who was almost a wolf now. But no matter what Thup became....He was still the one holding the leash around this rascal's neck.

"The gift is only for tonight," Singha whispered seductively, biting Thup's red ear. "But as for me, you can devour me anytime."

Thup buried his face in Singha's shoulder to hide his blushing face. As he said, a puppy is still a puppy. How could he ever surpass his master?
